This has to be the most DIRTIEST Speedway I have been into . 1) The fuel pump trash cans was not emptied and probably 2 trash bags full of trash laying beside overflown trash can. 2) Inside store DIRTY , Restroom was Nasty the sink was so dirty I didn't take a chance washing my hands. 3) Most of pop cooler wasn't stocked. 4) 5 workers in store that I counted , customers was lined up at 1 register that was occupied with worker , line was at the door other employees just standing bullshiting until a customer complained they was gonna be late getting back to work from his lunch break. DO BETTER SPEEDWAY CLEAN THIS PLACE UP !!!!

I used to be a regular at this place because it's super close to my house but I refuse to go here anymore.
On Tuesday I was going to take a friend for a hike and went here for snacks beforehand. When we walked in I told her it was my favorite convenience store. We were chatting and shopping for snacks, carrying sodas in our hands and the "sales manager" (I think that's what her name tag said?) came up to me and told me I need to take my "backpack up to the register". Backpack as in my purse that has two straps on the back, not a school backpack. I was shocked and felt like she was treating me and my friend like we were stealing. I told her I wasn't doing that and I was really embarrassed to be called out like that for no reason.
I get it your location is by st x so you probably do get school kids shoplifting but thats not my fault. I'm not leaving my valuables at the front door for anyone to steal them because your store has a security problem. Honestly if this is your policy I hope your location closes.
Edited to note that she also had the audacity to try and upsell me on candy and other items at the register after essentially accusing me of stealing.

As the closest gas station to me, this place gets a ton of my business. It's nice having a convenience store a 4 minute walk away. However, they have a serious problem with labor/scheduling. Past about 8, you just never know when they're going to be open.
It's so frustrating to finally summon the energy to run and grab something later at night only to show up to locked doors with paper taped to them that says "closed." Sometimes, they'll be on break, and there will be a crowd of 8 or 9 people standing in front of the doors just waiting or leaving in frustration.
Also, I feel like they've been having problems with stock recently. There are times I've come in over the past few months where like 80% of their drinks are sold out. They haven't had ZYN for a few weeks now. They don't make many breakfast options in the morning anymore. Being acquired by 711 also displaced all of the Speedway branded snacks I really liked.
Finally, they basically don't have a public bathroom. They usually have some kind of newspaper rack blocking the hallway to them lately. They've always been really rough bathrooms though.
In a nutshell, it's a convenient location with some pretty inconvenient little quirks.
