They did the minimum to take care of my child. I constantly complained about the daily report not being filled out. My daughter was bit 4 times within a month and one time they didn’t even know it happened. They tried to make it seem like it wasn’t a “big deal.” I also heard staff talking about other kids calling them ugly etc. I come to find out her teacher didn’t speaker English enough for the director to understand… so she wasn’t being engaged enough. She came home unhappy and hungry daily. Also when I left they didn’t know which items were items were “hers” and when I didn’t get all the item back on her last day… the director never called me back about the items missing. So if you want someone to do the minimum to take care of you child then this is your place.. they put no quality in their work and the people are very under trained and staffed. Very disappointed in the quality of this facility…Also when we transferred to a different care center my daughter came back happy every single day! It was a huge difference, so follow your gut if your child isn’t happy then they aren’t doing something right…

Southside has really been good to us and our son, since he was about 6mo old. He is now almost 2 and he ABSOLUTELY LOVED all of his teachers there! We had a change in our financial situation so that is the only reason we had to pull him out. I still give high recommendations to this daycare center! Amber, the director is so personable and knowledgeable! She is very in tune with the kiddos and their needs! You can tell all of the teachers there have so much fun playing and caring for the kids. It was really a great place for my child and again I would recommend it to other parents!

My son has been going here since he was 9 months old. As any first time mother I was very nervous to leave my son but Amber made it 10x's better. I get pictures of my son randomly throughout the day and she keeps me updated with everything. My son LOVES Amber and all of his teachers. He has learned so much since he has started there he is 2 and knows sign language, counts to 10 and knows his whole alphabet. There isn't anywhere else that I would rather my son go then where he is now. They definitely make us feel apart of a family.

This center is amazing, my 2 yr old has came a long way from her speech and being more social thanks to the help of staff and Ms. Amber. I love getting details about how both of my children’s day went and even getting pictures of them throughout the day. My kids are always excited to come to daycare and I couldn’t be happier to see their little smiles when they see their friends and the staff.

We took our son here since he was 4 months old until he was 13 months. We left because we moved states but would’ve definitely kept him in care here. Miss Amber and the rest of the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We would recommend to others. We will miss them when we move.

I have worked for this center for 1 and a half years now and it is the best daycare I have worked at. My coworkers and I love our children and we all know each and every one in our building. My son also goes here and loves his teachers and classmates very much. He talks about them at home and can't wait to see them the next day.

If you are reading this and considering this place..PLEASE let me tell you the experience I had when my 14 month old twins started attending this day care.. This facility is located on Klondike Lane. I cannot comment on any of the other locations because I have not seen them or have experience with them. Now when you first coming to the facility the director Angie will seem nice and caring but deep down you know something's not right do not go against that judgment. My boys never had a diaper rash or a sickness snotty noses before attending this day care. Now I kids get sick and that's just the way of life but as far as this diaper rash it was horrible I would take them home on Friday and get them healed up and come the following Tuesday and Wednesday never broke down again I'm not talking about just the normal diaper rash this was bad I had to get a prescription cream to use and I would direct the staff and Angie the director to please put on every diaper change...only to come to pivk them up and the cream would still be in their bag UNUSED!! Well one day I physically seen the teacher changing one of my boys ..well she did not use a wipe to wipe him down she just slapped a new diaper on him I asked her why didn't you wipe him off before putting that diaper on him her response was we don't have any wipes in here. I was flabbergasted and said well why can't you take the initiative and go get some so I went and approached the director Angie and told her about what they had done and that that was why they are getting diaper rashes her response was I will in service all my staff on how to change a diaper and giggled after saying it I didn't think it was funny and was super pissed. So one Friday I mentioned I was going to call and report to Child Protective Services and that following Monday I got a call from Child Protective Services saying that there had been allegations made towards me of neglect.!! I almost fell out of my chair I couldn't believe it. Good thing that I locked in every text message that Angie and I had sent to each other and thank God that I started taking pictures of their bottoms before they went go back to the daycare and they were time-stamped on the location I took them and the time I took them. So other words it would show the time I took them and the address at my house and then when we will pick them up it would show their address at the daycare and the time we pick them up. So I had to miss work find someone to watch my kids because I immediately pulled them out because i feared for their safety. Well to make a long story short they found no signs of abuse or neglect but they are now investigating the daycare. Also within 3 months They attended they would call and say that we needed to come pick up one of the boys because they had a fever and when arriving and we would take their temperature there would be no fever at all they would be up playing and running like normal this happened like eight or nine times. When I told Angie about it she simply said that she believed her staff members and that I was wrong. Again I couldn't believe it. This place is not a Christian facility I'm sure the owners intended on it to be Christian but the devil has worked his way in. They don't talk about Jesus they don't sing about Jesus there's no evidence of the place being Christian besides the name..there's not even pictures on the wall that represent Christianity. The Bible says to expose Darkness and that's what I'm doing. Do not take your kids here please and please follow your heart listen to it use the gift God has given you, discernment..the ability to know good and evil..The director is fake and will smile in your face and snake you behind your back and when called out with cold hard evidence of her wrong doings..she will never ever admit to them....i do however consider this experience as a blessing in disguise because my boys now attend a wonderful CLEAN daycare and NEVER have they had a rash or a "temperature". We have had a great expierence at Southside. We love Mrs. Angie, the director and the other teachers. They were so welcoming, and made my kids feel so loved every day. My daughter and son have grown so much this year.

My child and I love Southside Christian!My child started at Southside in the Pre-School room in February of 2017. During our initial tour, we fell in love with the spacious rooms, abundant selection of educational toys, and the playground equipment. He started the following Monday. My son’s father and I are split and I was concerned about the transition into a new setting. My concerns were immediately addressed. The director and teachers took to him like he was their own. Holding him accountable for his behavior while giving him the extra love and support needed to feel safe and secure.While attending the center my child has developed personally and socially. He understands the expectations set in the classroom. He even lets me know when I am not behaving to his teacher’s standards- Ha! They utilize a color system: green, yellow, and red. This allows him to evaluate his day and make changes as needed. If he drops to yellow or red, he has the opportunity to regain green status if he chooses to turn his day around and make better choices.He has developed wonderful relationships with his classmates and the teachers. I love coming in at the end of the day and listening to the funny stories about his adventures. He has had a few accidents while attending the center, he is quite the klutz! If it is more than a scrap or small bump, someone will call me. This is really important to me. Although they know my child well, this allows me the opportunity to decide if I would like to seek medical advice.There was a point in time when my child was bored with the curriculum which lead to him acting out. I struggled picking him up each day to find out he was on RED status. My son was developing this “defeated” attitude. The director, teacher, and I sat do to brainstorm ideas to help him. The teacher express how smart he was and believe he need something more intellectually challenging. If he started acting out, she redirected him to a new task. She went above and beyond to create additional activities (puzzles, worksheets, etc.) to keep him occupied. I created incentives at home if he was on GREEN when I arrived in the evenings. Together we helped my child succeed. We still encounter challenges; however, it is great to know the staff is available to assist in developing an appropriate solution.As a parent, the best part of this center is watching my child run in the door everyday happy to be there. He is excited to learn and they are molding him into a wonderful, smart, and loving young boy. I give Southside Christian on Klondike Lane 5 Stars.

my son attended south side Christian care the Klondike location.I have been having problems with the director of this location for months now. My son started in Jan 2017 and have paid with no problem. My son was very sick when he started and we still paid. Recently there was a sign put up if you don't pay Monday there will be a $10 late fee. I was taking by this because I pay on Tues and so does his father and spoke with the CEO a few weeks back and stressed my concern about this. She said as long as our payment is in by Tues at 930 am there is no problem.Well here's my issue my son didn't attend on a mon because he had a fever Sunday all day and this morning. I texted the director and let her Know my son will not be attending daycare today he's not feeling good. I will let her know. So at 5pm Monday I get a text how is my son. I responded and said he's still feverish and might not attend tomorrow. Her response is well his daycare fee is due Tues if he attends or not or THERE will be a late fee. I responded excuse me etc. I was just taken that I'm going to bring my sick baby out to pay daycare when I can just pay when I return. She then text me two hrs later to tell me she doesn't like how I speak with her and states my son cannot return. Well I've researched that you have to give a parent more than 24 he notice and also the hand book doesn't state anything about paying late fees when your child is sick. I will be filling a grievance.My child has had several incident reports. My kid stays sick all the time being in this center The center is dirty never smells clean .they go thru several workers at this location, many teachers. My childs diapers and wipes are always missing. My child is in a change of clothes everyday day his clothes are drenched with urine and is still in diapers. I picked him up on a Friday with a BM that seemed to be on him for a long period of time.I am very disappointed and can't believe this is how parents are treated with concerns about their child. I will be following up and proceeding with further action against your director of the Klondike location. This will not be taken lightly.

If you're considering this place just stop. I was home for seven months after having my first child when it became time to start working I enrolled my child here. At first Angie the director was friendly. Eventually things started getting missing sometimes it will be his clothes, then it became his bottles. They actually gave me another child's dirty bottle because they couldn't find my sons! At the time I had an 8 month old that used a size 3 and size 4 nipples for his bottle. An employee switched my sons nipples for a size one which belonged to another child. It's disgusting that my child had another babies nipple but the director didn't have a care in the world. They call this place a Christian daycare but never show acts of Christianity. My son was always sick and the employees complained a lot! As if he was there for free. Once it got so bad that I had to take him to the Emergency room and there the Dr told me to remove him from day care as soon as I can. He had an ear infection from this daycare, problems breathing because of his constant runny nose. I came to tell Angie Hiland the director that he will be no longer coming once the week was over due to medical problems. She said she would replace the nipple from his bottle that was lost before the end of that week. The last day she left early and there was no nipple replaced. I messaged her two weeks later saying I will stop buy to pick it up and she said she isn't replacing them anymore because my child no longer attends. So apparently what's lost while I'm paying $135 cannot be replaced anymore because u no longer care. I told her she needs to replace them and him no longer attending should have nothing to do with the. What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. She told me to not contact her any longer l. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for childcare this woman only cares when she gets a check from you. She's unprofessional. And does not represent anything about Christianity. Angie Hiland also told me that because my child left without a two week notice she doesn't owe me what they lost. She's making up rules because she only cares about money and not my child's health.
