Neglects kids , disgusting dirty and filthy. Every picture my child took she was crying , dirty and miserable. Couldn't wait to leave at the end of the day and cried her eyes out upon arrival. Kids constantly get sick and caretakers choose favorites. The baby room has too many kids and they all are being neglected. Absolutely disgusting to hear the cries from small infants. I wish parents could see what goes on. I dropped in many times and things were not right. Lied on forms about changing diapers. DISGUSTING !

PLEASE READ!!!! THESE REVEWS HAVE TO BE FAKE. I chose this daycare based on reviews and I am HIGHLY disappointed. I would never recommend this facility to anyone after my experience. As a parent you entrust strangers to make sure your child is cared for while you work and this Kindercare is not up to any sort of standard. If I find a better facility who can take my child I will be removing her. They placed my child in a infant room where I witnessed children crying for up to 30 minutes with no one attending to them or nurturing them. One baby fell on her head under the crib and no staff came to her aid until I picked her up myself. Most of the staff are young and they do NOT care about children this is just a job for them and their attitudes are just horrendous. They smile for the parents but once you leave your child is not cared for how they should be. I came to check on my child in the infant room and found her completely full of pee no diaper change crying her eyes out. They say they are doing diaper changes and don’t. It’s disgusting how they treat small children and they will be getting reported as a loving mother it’s horrible to witness that. The final straw is my child getting a rash (from not being changed) , pink eye (from the filthy facility where they let kids share personal items and do not sanitize OLD outdated toys) , and now a sickness where she is coughing up mucous and throwing up. I am disgusted ! All I have been met with is emails with empty promises nothing has changed and I will be taking my concerns to corporate and the state. I would advise any parent who loves your child to keep them out of this location.UPDATE 8/14/23 I want to commend Lindsay who saw my review and has been in contact with me regarding my concerns. She used to be the Director at Hurstbourne location and took my complaints very seriously. Being heard about your child is very reassuring and she has been nothing but professional and caring about this. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth but I appreciate the quick intervention.

We have loved and enjoyed our time at Kindercare off Shelbyville road. Our son is currently in the two year old room and we love Ms. Silver, she is amazing with children and my son enjoys seeing her everyday. He has been going there since he was 16 weeks old and trust them with our child and we enjoy all the photos we get throughout the day. Our 1 year old will be starting there in August! Highly recommend Kindercare off Shelbyville Road!

My daughter has been in this daycare since she was 5 months old, and she is almost going to be 2 years old and the truth is that she has done very well, the teachers are very charismatic, polite, and professional, my daughter adores Miss Pat and Miss Hope. She has learned a lot and she is always playing with her friends. I recommend this wonderful place.

My husband and I loved the teachers at Shelbyville KinderCare for our infant son. We got multiple pictures throughout the day and I really feel like our son was getting the same love and attention there as he would if he were at home. I hate that we had to move out of state. Would recommend to anyone!

We can’t say enough about the amazing care that the staff at the Shelbyville KinderCare provider for our daughter. She is literally our miracle baby that we never thought we would have, and trusting anyone to give her care while we are at work was very nerve wrecking! Ms Sheena, Ms Jacqueline, and Ms Haylea are absolutely fabulous along with their leadership staff that support the love and elevated care they give our baby girl. She is treated like family, they do tons of activities that they robots her development, and we get to see it all through the amazing photos they take daily sent through their app. We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention our daughter receives at KinderCare. Highly recommend!!

We absolutely adore the teachers and staff at Kindercare on Shelbyville Road. Miss Hayley, Miss Pat, Miss Jordan—we are so thankful to have them and everyone at Kindercare.Their efforts really shine with our son who gets excited to see his friends and learn new things at school. He gets to do and learn so many new things that I don’t have to miss because they send photos AND VIDEOS! I am always certain during my work day that he is well and loved while in their hands.Highly recommend!

I have been a parent at this center for 3 years and I have never once questioned my choice. The teachers are loving and teach the curriculum very well. Both my boys (2 & 3) come home talking about the things they learned and they both look forward to school each day. They also handle the new Covid regulations well. There are daily temperature checks and the communication is above and beyond.

We absolutely LOVE sending our children to Kindercare on Shelbyville Rd in Louisville. We have been in attendance there now for over a year and both of our children are enrolled. Since our first phone call to inquire about availability and enrollment we received great service, and everyone at this center is helpful and kind. The enrollment process was easy and their parent portal for payments and daily child updates works great too. Above all else, my husband and I have felt that our kids are kept safe, treated so well and we trust the teachers and staff here. They are all fantastic people! During the COVID-19 pandemic we've been especially impressed with everyone's commitment to keep the center open and safe for the children. My children look forward to going to school here everyday, and they come home happy with stories and lots of artwork to show how much fun they have everyday. Thank you Shelbyville Kindercare, we appreciate you!!!

My three years old baby loves this daycare. All the staff is extra sweet and really professional. The facility is super clean. My baby is well taken care of. The teacher Mrs. Joy is always paying attention to the babies needs to help them to feel better. My baby is happy and learning new things every day there. I really recommend this daycare.

My daughter has been going to KinderCare Shelbyville for a month now. I was bit nervous at first since I didn’t get to tour the daycare due to COVID rules and regulations. I sent my child based on our good friend’s recommendation who sends their child to KinderCare Shelbyville. Since my daughter started at KinderCare her critical thinking development has been rapidly growing. I ABSOLUTELY love their learning curriculum and activities. I also love how all the teachers/caregivers are very professional, loving, and proficient. My daughter is always so excited to go to this daycare every morning. She has a great teacher, Ms.Pat who is attentive and very passionate of her job. She is very loving to my daughter. Lately my daughter keeps saying her name and looks forward to see her in the morning. Last week Ms.Jordan joined with Ms. Pat in toddler’s room so my daughter has been repeatedly calling Ms.Jordan’s name too. When your 20 months old toddler loves both of her teachers and looks happy that says a lot about the daycare and teachers. Here are few great things that stands out compared to other daycare in Louisville.1. Allergy friendly meals- My daughter is severely allergic to dairy and eggs. I do not have to bring her special food from home. They provide and serve allergy friendly food with no additional cost. In addition, I like the fact that their lunch room is separate from the daily activities and nap room. This definitely helps for the safety reason because my kid is severely allergic to dairy and eggs so she is not picking up food from the floor and putting in the mouth.2. Sunscreen and Bug-spray - they provide sunscreen and bug spray when playing outside.3. KinderCare is technically advanced meaning all the communication and bills are maintained via KinderCare portal. In addition, parents get to download the app and receive daily notifications of your child such as activities, meal time, diaper changes, and lots of pictures. Parents can also add family members so they can see pictures of your little ones throughout the day.4. There is a great diversity of backgrounds and cultures among the students and the staff.5. The administrative team is very friendly, competent, and hands on. During this social distancing the admin team Haley, Kelsey, and Mary Kate have been very instrumental with checking kids in at the health posts and making sure parents are wearing masks and sterilizing during check in and check out.
