Nice park I like to walk there its clean and lite up the sidewalk is in good shape. Quite for a park so I get a lot of mind exercise too
Dog-friendliness: You can walk your dog and not worry about loose dogs attacking. Everyone keeps their pets on a leash.

Given the reputation of the neighborhood it was very very surprising that this park was very clean and well maintained, I'd strongly recommend taking Your children here not only for the playground but for the Halloween party.

Shelby Park is a beautiful place to walk or take the kids to play. I would however not advise nighttime visits.

Where i first went off the diving board at 14 trying to touch bottom of 12 foot deep pool almost drown but memories i never forget pool not there no more but wish kids could enjoy it like I did

Nice place for a quiet lunch. Picnic tables, hoops, tennis and a nice walk around.

I love this park its my home away from home I can charge my phone and clean up the park so kids don't have to play in a dirty park
