This neighborhood market is perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, cigarettes, Lotto, and last minute items. Staff was friendly, glad to know it's right around the corner.

0.5 miles from my house. It's a sketch walk at night I'm a girl but I still walk there as late as 10, I do try to get there before dark but in the summer I don't mind. Weird people but they keep to themselves. Usually a bum or 2 on the corner. That corner of magnolia and 2nd always smells like sewer. Same clerks. They sell weird hard to find ciggs such as darium blacks. Always stocked with black and milds. Have quarter size and large RAW cones. Drinks teas Gatorade Mexican soda. Choco tacos and an ice cream selection that is fully stocked in summer. Two refrigerators actually. Their food under the lights sucks it's hard and they keep it in there all day it never turns over. One time I bought biscuits and they were rock hard. Not the cleanest place but they try. I've seen them hire ppl to mop the floors and clean but they always rotate through.

This place saves me a lot of time I live on the corner next to it and the owner sunny is always looking out for people, prices are ok not as high as some gas stations but it is a convenience store so you pay a little extra for that convenience. They're great and I feel welcome in this store.

It really takes a lot for me write a bad review, but this place has a serious problem. They changed all their staff a few months back. Wherever those folks are now I wish them well, but the new people here are failing. I was accused of theft here recently and the “proof” I was presented with was a still taken from their cameras of a man with died blonde hair and an ear piercing (I have neither). Mistaken identity is one thing, but when the employee realized his mistake he simply walked away, ignoring my request for an apology, to hide in the back room. I could even write the whole incident off as “just that one weird time at Scheler’s” if I had not also been routinely overcharged (charged more than the prices they displayed) and seen other people similarly harrassed and overcharged. It’s nice to have a corner store within walking distance, but I’d walk a long way to avoid this place until they fix whatever’s going on now.

I’ve witnessed the owners become MICRO AGGRESSIVE towards Black People. When I confronted them about it they said they couldn’t understand and ignored me.
