They sent me a card saying they were open till six on Saturday, and offering a good deal. I drove an hour and a half to find a sign that says that they close at 12 noon!

The store was supposed to close at 6 pm. I got it confused with another place that I’d looked up online. I sat in over an hour’s worth of traffic to get to it, and when I got there saw that it said they closed at 6 pm M-F on the door. I still had 20-something minutes when I got there. I saw a blond woman at the desk when I came in and I said, “I thought you all closed at 8 pm on your website. Now I see you close at 6.” She said, “That’s wrong , and actually I have to leave in 10 minutes.” I just sat in over an hour’s worth of traffic to get to this store and that really ticked me off. So I turned around to walk out, because I can’t decide on a pair of expensive shoes in 10 minutes. She goes, “Ma’am!” I just walked out the door because, frankly, I didn’t care what she had to say. I was mad enough at that point, but she continued to follow me out the door to inform me that they’ve never been open till 8 pm. I just got into my car. I will never return to this store.

I bought the Mesh track shoe today. Don was great. He was not only very knowledgeable of the origins of the company, but had great savvy and since of humor. I loved his tales of his father, who is about my age. I've purchased several pairs of shoes from this location . All who have assisted me were very good. Don went the extra mile. I called him up, and said, why the long shoe strings, they drag the floor. He explained, that's the way it is designed. He said, Frank, come in next week, and I'll give you a shorter pair of shoe strings. Five stars, Kudo's to Don

Carol and Laura were very helpful. We were from out of town and in Louisville for Bourbon and Beyond. We heard the weather was going to be pretty rough and we didn't have any rain boots. I called and spoke to Carol who was very nice. She answered all my questions and even asked for the sizes we needed. I told her we were walking form the hotel and she provided directions. When we got there, she has one of every style in the size we needed waiting on us. Also, the prices were fantastic. We bought two pair and had dry feet all night in the extreme muck and mud of Bourbon and Beyond. Big thanks to Carol and Laura!!

Excellent, personalized service. Dan was a wealth of knowledge. He did not try to upsale any accessories without first being asked. SAS is known for the quality of their shoes. To have a store with instock shoes for diabetics can be hard to find. Louisville is fortunate to have SAS and their courteous staff.
