Me, my wife and our daughter started going to salon bacco recently and I gotta tell you. It’s a gem. The entire staff is amazing, the ambiance is very homie yet elegant. When you enter, you’re always being greeted by someone. You’re always offered some refreshments which is also a plus. I believe there are three or four hair stylists. Me and my wife see Hannah and she’s phenomenal, always takes her time to make your haircut look amazing! Our daughter sees Bruce and he’s also great! Anyway, Salon Bacco is our favorite spot from now on! Cheers!

The most beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff, I showed Hannah two pictures of what I wanted and she completely blew my expectations out of the park and made me feel so pretty with a haircut I was super nervous to get. 10/10 will be returningServices: Haircut

I have been coming to salon bacco since I moved to louisville almost ten years ago. The atmosphere is elite. All the stylists are amazing. I see Bruce and he is a hair wizard. You go in tired, haggard, and dated and come out looking like Gwyneth Paltrow. Ill never go anywhere else!Services: Hairstyling

I've been going to Salon Bacco for about two years. I really enjoy each visit because all the staff are very friendly and Bruce does a great job styling my hair. He listens, provides advice and talks through what he's doing. We have engaging conversations, not just superficial chit chat. The salon is nice, very clean and comfortable. I've also started taking my sons there.

After my salon closed I thought I’d try Bacco since they were close and an Aveda Salon... Not sure what I did to Hannah after reading the reviews but I had a HORRIBLE experience at this salon. Felt incredibly cult like where I was an outsider and didn’t belong. Being an Aveda salon I expected the usual wonderful welcoming vibe. Not even close. No hand or head massage, no calming oil treatment or tea. I showed Hannah a photo of what I wanted and it was like she wasn’t even listening . She cut an inch off the bottom when I asked for closer to three inches LIKE THE PHOTO! Bangs should have been left long, yet she cut them so short they stuck out forward, some shorter pieces stuck straight up! I was told by friend it looked like I let my seven year old cut my bangs. My hair looked NOTHING like the photo. I’ve had to pin my bangs down and until they grow long enough to fall against my forehead again.
The worst part is I went to the salon not feeling great about myself and hoped a new haircut would be the thing that made me feel better. After an hour in the chair with Hannah I left the salon in tears and sat in my car and cried. Bacco Salon doesn’t fit the neighborhood it recently moved into which is very warm and welcoming - this place was very much like a cult and I think all the five star reviews are from friends because I’ll never go back there and I would never recommend anyone go there. After 20+ years of being an Aveda Salon devotee I can say with all conviction Bacco DOES NOT deserve to call themselves an Aveda salon.
