The guys at this shop are honest, knowledgeable and provide quick service! I pulled into their parking lot after receiving a very predatory quote from a chain auto shop down the street.They listened and replaced my alternator with a brand new one for a reasonable price and on the same day. I will be returning soon for routine maintenance. Riggs is my new automotive go to!

Highly recommend! I got a really cheap but really good quality used tire from these guys today..super nice folks! Really go above and beyond for their customers! I appreciate you fellas!

Although I got a pretty good deal on used tires, the office said that it came with balancing. With the shaking driving home, I discovered, apparently the shop is not aware of this policy. Who sells tires without balancing?! If not, then unsafe practices or unconcern for the customers. Tried calling back several times only to get a full voicemail. Balancing doesn't cost that much to the company. Too bad, they apparently do not want return customers.

Not an honest place to take your vehicle to. I was pricing to help a family in need of new tires. I priced a set near the families house but decided to post on Facebook if anyone would help. Chad Riggs reached out and said he would take take care of it. When I asked the price he said don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. When we went in for the appointment the tires weren’t there and the owner was on vacation. The family had to drive 45 minutes for an appointment that was for nothing. They came back the next day. We got the tires on. I texted the owner back and asked the price. I had no answer so the office called and he told them the price. They knew the story of what we were doing. Chad Riggs told them the same price I had been quoted from the other company to start with. He took advantage of the situation to get the deal. His workers felt bad and apologized. At that point I also realized Chad had blocked me on all levels so that as soon as I realized what he had done I wouldn’t be able to contact him directly. Shady business that takes advantage of people.

Had a motor installed in my vehicle, the work was not completed even being paid in full. More damage was cause to my vehicle than what I was charged for labor and parts. New parts were to be installed an did not get a single new part, even worse I was charged for parts that were never replaced. I was charged around $5000 in total for parts an labor an after several attempts of taking my vehicle back the work was still not completed. After my alternator falling off due to the bracket not being reinstalled I took my vehicle to another shop. After an initial inspection I was told that it would be more than $7500 to get my motor in running order. At this point I had still not heard back from the owner of Riggs tire an auto. I had the work done and still have to have several parts installed due to the wrong part being installed or the part never being installed by Riggs tire and auto. I had an agreement that the owner Chad Riggs would order all new parts an I would pay him for them. I was charged over $2500 for new parts and after goin an getting an invoice myself from a local parts store found out that no new parts were installed parts were taken off the old motor an installed on the new one and he spent around $900 on the parts that were installed, none being new. This place is a joke an the owner is a liar an a thief. I would not recommend this place to anyone for anything ever. Maybe after this he will actually make an attempt to make things right by refunding my money in full for the work that was supposed to be done an the work that had to be done to correct the damage that his shop caused, and the work an parts that still has to be done. My guess would be not because if this is the type of business he’s ok conducting then he took the money and ran. On top of all this my vehicle was at his shop for every bit of 7 months waiting to get done. Terrible business terrible customer service terrible communication. Again I do not in any way recommend this business.

Took a vehicle here to get brakes and rotors changed. Received a phone call 3 days later that the abs module was bad and needed to be replaced which was going to take the bill over $1700 which I approved. So I picked up the truck and paid the bill. When i drove the truck home all my lights were on check engine etc. So i called Chad and he told me take it to Collins Ford they would run diagnostic test on it for free. So thatswhat I do. Collins Ford lets me know that a used part was put on my truck which is why all the lights were on. He explained that you have to replace abs module with a new part or the lights will come on. So i got home check my bill from Riggs Auto and I was charged for a new part $470 and they put an $80 part on it. Well according to KY state law UDAP a mechanic can not put used part on your vehicle without your knowledge let alone do it and charge you for a new one. So i have called and called Ruggs Auto and for 9 days they will not return my call. So i go up there and have one of mechanic call Chad from his phone and chad answers and gives me the phone and soon as i stated my name Chad hung up on me. So the guy at Riggs calls him back and I explain the law to Chad and he states they will put a new part on my truck at no costs. That was over a week ago and havent heard from Chad yet. Law also states it needs to be done in reasonable amount of time which it isnt. Please dont take your vehicles here bc for mechanic to put a used part on your vehicle and charge for a new part is the most dishonest a mechanic could be. please beware when taking your vehicle here bc will leave with more problems than it had. Have already contacted the attorney general and filed a complaint. If i could give less than 1 star i would.

I took my 2008 civic hybrid in because the air wasn't working and it needed an oil change. Close to two month and $1200 later, I finally got my car back from him still no air, and I'm not even sure the oil was changed because the car is still telling me it needs an oil change. It got to a point where he would read my text but not respond, he wouldn't answer my calls. I'd tell him I'm coming just to get my car back, then he's respond and tell me it's not ready. Chad is a very friendly person, but he doesn't know how to run a business. I had to call him each time to get an update out of him. I had to go by 3 different times to pick up my car because he failed to have it ready when I told him I was coming to get it. After I finally got it, it still needed "one more thing" to fix the a/c. So we made an appointment after being told it would take no more than 15 minutes to do. We show up, and had to reschedule because he needed 2 hours. I wasn't leaving my car with this guy again. So we can back later, let him do this last "fix", being so sure this would fix it. I still have no air in my car, but I now have grease stains because they were too careless to put paper mats down in my car and wipe the grease off the back of the seat. He repeatedly told me this car was tricky because it was older and a hybrid. After reading other reviews, it sounds like they're in the wrong business.

best customer service i’ve ever received! Chad, the owner was so helpful and so nice my entire experience. i truly couldn’t have asked for better help when both of my tires went flat. i’ll be coming here anytime i have any car issues. they are very trust worthy and amazing people. i’d give more stars if i could:)

They are busy, but they fixed my flat immediately in less than 10 min. Seem like honest mechanics. Didn't try to sell me a tire, just fixed it and moved on. Would recommend

I was getting passed along for about a week from different places and was trying to get influenced on buying things for my car that wasn't needed. Glad I waited. A friend of mine whose a customer of Riggs referred me to the them. I tell you what, I have never felt so pleased, relaxed and excited when it came to getting my car fixed. Im out here on my own, people like to take advantage of that. You can easily tell that they were honest and genuine on how they do business and their quality of work. They didn't quote me nor give me any diagnosis before looking at my car!They even gave me a ride back while I waiting for my car.They took the time to evaluate what my complaints were, called me before hand explained it to me and the price!! I knew I was getting a fair deal. They even picked me up in my car to pay for it. I couldn't shut up for the life of me on thon how well my car was driving and sounded. I was that excited! My car is my life line and my way of work. It got fixed and ready in timely manner.Highly highly recommend Riggs!!! For oil changes and all that.

I called and asked before I even drove to this place. I pulled up got the tire out of my car and the guy says I don't have that tire. Are you serious I just called. I specified my tire size on the freaking phone. In this day and age drive time was wasted. Think about your customers. Wasted my time and gas.
