We went through Ratterman after the passing for our mother. Owen and Brandon are incredible. Both men helped us through so much at every step of the way when planning the visitation and funeral services. Everything was beautiful for our mother, and I don't think it could have been any better.

Joey and Lindsey Ratterman were so very kind and nice. This is a sad time for families but they made this so easy for us and were so kind in everything they did. We had choosen cremation. And were had my aunt back in a few days not weeks and they didnt over charge us at all. If you are in need of a furneral home i highly recommed useing them

When I lost my beloved mother in 2008 I dreaded walking into the funeral home and seeing her. She had not been very healthy for a while. I stand by my statement that she looked more beautiful at her visitation then I’d seen her look in years. The Rattermans took such good care to make my once very proud mother look marvelous!!!! Such kind and compassionate people.

At a very difficult time the staff at Ratterman’s were exceptional. From start to finish we felt cared for in our time of need. We had allot of visitors & we used almost every room of the funeral home & we were accommodated. They were professional & caring at the same time. They seem to have procedures that are spot on.Thank you from our family & thank for easing our grief!

Owen, who took care of my daughter's and I was a Absolutely wonderful man. There wasn't anything he didn't try to do to make things easier for us. I've never met such kind and caring people and Owen was a very caring, and such a helpful man.Thank You Ratterman Of Southside Drive, for having such caring employees.Owen, made things alot easier and not so painful. They did a memorial for my wife that past away of 26 years the love they show at the memorial was incredible! The memorial was beautiful and perfect. My family and friends loved the ceremony.

I give the strongest possible recommendation for Ratterman Funeral Home on Southside Dr. The entire staff is amazing, but Terry and Allyse deserve individual recognition. Caring, thoughtful and patient, our family is grateful for their service to us during a deeply sad time. Trust them and you will not be disappointed.

Being at Rattermans is like being with family. They have supported us in so many ways. Other Funeral Homes in Louisville treat you like they are just a business but with Rattermans they have such compassion for you during this time of grief. They took care of us when my parents, husband, uncle, and child passed away. Our family loves the staff here. And I plan to prepay for my funeral so my children will have it a little more easy when my time comes. We did this with my mother at Rattermans and it went really smooth. I highly recommend them plus their prices are the most reasonable in the city.
