The rooms were clean but, due to wear and poor maintenance, they looked dirty. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are way too soft for my taste. It wasn't quiet but, considering the proximity to the airport, it was much quieter than expected.
Breakfast was a buffet typical of mid-range hotels. Unfortunately, drinks were only available on request and I couldn't find anyone to request one from.
Rooms: Large, efficiency room with a whirlpool tub. We noticed many signs of amateur maintenance - bad caulking, a large gap in the shower liner around the faucet, etc. A lot of dings and scratches on doors, walls, and the bathroom fixtures made the room feel dirty.

You get what you pay for…
I found a German cockroach in the first room I was checked into. The night manager offered me a new room on the opposite end of the hall which I accepted, and in the new room I found body hair in the jacuzzi tub and a used wash cloth with more body hair on it hanging from the shower rod. At least the rest of the room appeared clean, and the sheets were clean and didn’t smell bad. And I have one guess as to why there is tissue stuck all around the smoke detector. I came to Louisville for vacation and just needed a place to sleep and shower, this fits those two requirements. Also, the coffee pot only uses the flat filter packets of coffee and only decaf was available.
Safety: This hotel is located in an area that I would not feel safe walking around at night. I don’t even feel safe walking to my car in the parking lot. At least during the day, I feel comfortable and safe enough to walk directly to and from the lobby to my vehicle. I would not loiter outside here.
Walkability: I don’t feel safe walking in any direction away from this hotel. The area is run down and there are vagrants everywhere.

Was a good experience but the bathup was not working properly. We didn't call nobody because we was having fun.

Room: DIRTY; carpet NOT vacuumed, counter NOT clean (stuck food, etc). The cloth chair at the table had a dirty kleenex in it. The desk chair was filthy.
The front desk attendant was nice.
Location: I should have checked much closer while on maps to the exact area. Lots of transient traffic.
If I could have gotten a cancelation with a return of money, I would have!!

This hotel needs some renovations, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was super helpful. It was perfectly located for our activities- Iroquois Amphitheater and Cave Hill Cemetery.

The rooms are very dated and there were ants all over the nightstands. There was also blood on the curtains. I won't be staying here again and can't recommend it to anyone else

My girlfriend and I were trying to call to get a reservation, front desk kept picking up the phone and hanging up on us without even saying hello, absurd! I'm trying to give you money.

Hotel smells bad in room. Not in an great area. Cleaned but not cleaned. People live here. Just not happy with hotel so much wish we went some where else. Do not stay here

The hotel was below average. There was a broken finger nail extension in the eggs they served me for breakfast . Absolutely disgusting. I had to stay there because it was the closest to the place I had to get to . Never ever gonna stay at this place again .
The manager dosen’t respond to emails or complaints. It’s a very old hotel and it needs updating. Stay away from this place guys.

Badly needs updating, not the best part of town
Upon arrival, we noticed the area is quite sketchy, looks like someone is living out of their car next door. Once inside the lobby, we were met by an overwhelming odor of marijuana, covering the entire first floor. Once in our room, it was quite musty (mold & old cigarette smell), the A/C cycled every minute, the mattress was worn out and lumpy. Our entire party (2 different rooms) woke up with respiratory issues from the poor air quality.

Beware! Had to call my credit card company to receive my deposit back. Nasty smell on 3rd floor and in room. Was accused of smoking in room when I did not, but hotel after 8pm smelled like Marijuana BAD. Tub in room was filthy, had to userag and 2 hand towels to clean it. Filter in AC unit was atleast half inch think of dust. THE WRONG SIDE OF TOWN. DON'T RECOMMEND GOING OUT AT NIGHT. None of the pictures are accurate of rooms or pool area. Total junkie area

It says a lot for this hotel manager, when the only complaint that I have is that there were no USB charger ports in the room (my phone pretty much died in the night).
Otherwise, the room was great! The Pool was good. The room was fresh, and very clean.
Breakfast was well-rounded.
The Staff was helpful (needed silverware for my carry-out dinner).
This will probably become my go-to stay, when I come to Louisville for work!
