Our jeep broke down while we were in town for a few days. The guys at Probilt were more than accommodating to us. They couldn't have treated us better. Thank you for helping us out!

We’ve been using probilt for years. Their prices are reasonable, they work quickly, and are so helpful with explaining any work that has needed to be done on our vehicles. We don’t trust anyone else with our car stuff. 10/10 recommend!

They have worked on my husbands cars for about 7-8 years now. Always have been friendly, informative and fixed hiccups when they occurred. I noticed an oil leak, called just hoping for them to look at it or for a temporary fix considering it was the week of Christmas and assumed they'd be booked up. Well, not only did see and fix my leak all in the same day, they gave us a discount. I can proudly say my husband and I will always recommend this shop and will take all future cars there for as long as they take customers.

Terrible service. Very overpriced for what they do. Stay away. Go to a real mechanic because this place will recommend whatever it takes to charge you the most for minimal work and your vehicle will leave worse off than it was when it went in. Go to Lamberts and feel better about what they tell you than this jackass

Dan and the crew at Probilt were awesome. They quickly diagnosed a check engine light and replaced a faulty hose. Excellent communication and timely repair. Highly recommend.

I have a business and when my truck is down I'm losing money. Probilt understands that and does a great job and as fast as possible without cutting corners.

Over the winter I slid on some ice and needed a new wheel and control arm. Geicko worked with Probilt on getting everything fixed. Dan convinced me not to use a part Geicko recommended due to it being used. I trusted that. Paid more personally to them because Geicko wasn't going to pay for the new part. When I picked it up everything seemed fine. There was still a noise it wasn't making from the ice incident, but I can’t find any rubbing or anything wrong. Still not sure if everything was fixed properly though.Fast forward a few months and my AC was no longer working or blowing cold air. Thought I’d go back since they seemingly did a decent job. Dan did the diagnostic test on everything and gave me a call. Said I would essentially need a whole new compressor and clutch for the AC and it was making a really loud noise during the testing. Quoted me between $1200 to $1500, which I felt was insane. I have a 2015 Subaru with 55k miles on it. The AC wouldn’t have been damaged during the right tire ice incident. No reason the AC should just be out of service like that. I decided to wait and get a second opinion. Of course after getting charged for all the testing still with no fixes. Which is normal, but still. I took it to a place in Nashville, where I went prior to moving to Louisville a few years back. My family and I have gone to them for years, have a good relationship, and they are reliable. This is where it gets crazy. They call me and say they checked the systems for the AC (I even gave them the Probilt paper with their recommendations). Said everything checked out fine. Stated they wouldn’t replace any of the parts because they are working great and in pretty new condition. However the AC was completely drained of freon. They put freon in and recharged the system for $200 (Probilt was going to charge around $300-$500 for the same thing. Also said who knows how long it will last before you need to make the big fixes they recommended initially. They never said anything about freon. I’m sure the AC was shaking and making noise without any).My AC is working great now and blowing cold air thanks to the shop I ended up getting the second opinion with. The shop I went to was puzzled on how there would not be any freon in the car if there was not a leak, which they checked for and there was not. Said it would have to be taken out of the car. So I’m not going to directly point fingers but everything was fine with my AC before Probilt, but of course it was still winter after I got the car back from the ice incident so I never noticed anything wrong right away. I won’t be going back because I feel a little scammed. I don’t ever write reviews but when it comes to your car and spending hundreds vs thousands I think people should be aware. This might be a shop that won’t tell you about problems, or make problems worse, so you have to spend more to fix something that was likely easy/cheaper before hand.Services: Air conditioning
