I have had only positive experiences that leave me pain free each time I’ve gone. I am so very thankful to the professional staff that has immediately targeted my physical problems. I’ve also left with instructions to continue strengthening & working my troubled areas. Kudos to Bear & Lindsey for being such a blessing to my husband & myself.

Just did my first mat session at Pilates Works, and at least my thumbs aren't as sore as the rest of my body! You'll be pushed to the limit as you do reps of movements that are designed to torture -- er, I mean tone -- your body into tip top shape. Located on Taylorsville Rd near the intersection with Bardstown and Trevilian, Pilates Works occupies the first floor of the Witten Center. The space is clean, uncluttered, and fully equipped for a full Pilates workout. A room full of Reformer machines greets you when you arrive, and a smaller studio for mat and barre workouts is to the right of that larger main room. All of the instructors are so welcoming, positive, and friendly. During my hour long workout, they encouraged me to push myself, and I knew that it was only for my own good, despite cursing them inwardly for my burning hips and thighs :-) I'm a Pilates newbie bye never once felt out of place during the session. If you're looking for a way to supercharge your existing workouts, check out the classes at Pilates Works and you might just discover a new favorite workout, too!
