We have had multiple interactions with Mark and not only is he professional but also kind, patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. He is excited and passionate to share his craft. He possesses all the great traits a good teacher should. I would definitely recommend booking a session with him. He gives you 100% of his attention. It is a shame that one bad post on social media could hurt years of hard work and dedication when people are ignorant to a situation. I know that he works hard and is very customer oriented. Book your session now!!! You will not be sorry!!!

We had a great time on the tour. In the gift shop they sell glass slugs (they are way too cute). The glass blowing demonstration of making the snowmen was informative and entertaining. We made sun catchers, they turned out really cool.

My family and I went in over thanksgiving weekend 2023. We stayed over 2 hours and had a blast! Kids are 10 & 13. My daughter wanted to make Stitch and he had never done that and tried it out with her - Mark was patient and fun! Really fun time and incredibly affordable! We will be back next time we are in town!

Love the full experience at this wonderful establishment. Everything in the building makes me feel creative and adventurous! The pieces offered for a private lesson are fun and not too challenging. At each time I go I have a unique experience. I will be taking my niece this year to make the snowman and we are both elated. Looking forward to a new annual tradition with one of my favorite people.

Mark is very knowledgeable and encouraging. My husband and I had never done glasswork before but we each did a FlameIt project with him and he taught us step by step what to do. This was a lot of fun. There were many different designs to choose from and several different colors. I would definitely encourage doing this and I will be coming back if I get the chance!

If you are looking for a fun and informative time, you need to come here! We had a reservation for a "Flame Your Own" session on a Sunday and it was by far one of the best experiences we have had. We were greeted by Mark, who showed us what our project options were.Something quite unique about this place is that you could come here 20 times and make something different every time. There are many projects listed for a Flame Your Own (with standard pricing), but Mark explained that you can tweak certain base projects to make them more complex. I love the idea that you can really choose exactly what you're creating that day since Mark gives you so much choice. We ultimately chose a crazy-eyed penguin and Mark's famous creation: a cootiebug. As you get the process started, you are given glasses to protect your eyes while looking at the flame. Mark makes sure you have the right size glasses before getting started showing you the basics of what you'll be doing when the flame is turned on. You get hands on, one on one instruction throughout the project and Mark is SO good at describing what and why you're doing what you're doing as you go along. He gives you a ton of control, which I never would have expected in an environment like this. There is a lot of trust involved and I really respect and admire his teaching skills and glass knowledge. We learned so much and we had a total blast making our precious and silly creations. We were celebrating a birthday during our Flame Your Own session and Mark made sure to make the occasion so awesome with fun picture opportunities and ensuring the finished products were perfect upon pick up. I am so over the moon about this business and I'll be telling everyone I know that they should come here to do a project. We will be back flame another project and we definitely want to try the other instructional class (fusing glass) at this location.Thank you for making this day so amazing and a wonderful memory that we will cherish forever! We are so happy with our little glass friends.

While visiting Louisville, my best friend and I visited with Mark in his studio to make a beautiful pendant and a wine stopper. He was fun to talk to, shared a lot of information about the science behind what was happening with our glass, and was just a cool dude. I highly recommend this experience, and would do it again if I had the opportunity.

Mark was amazing, friendly, kind, gave great instruction as my wife blew the glass. Let us get excellent pics and videos and the experience was top notch.Inexpensive for what it was too, it could have easily cost twice as much to build ypur own glass like this.Great fire breathing pictures and slow mo video at the end too!

We found Mark by seeing a sign after visiting the Louisville Slugger Museum. We decided to call and schedule a time to have an experience working glass with a torch. It was such a fun experience for all of us and Mark was great teaching and encouraging along the way. Even when I bumped two pieces together getting them stuck Mark was able to help me get them apart and ended up making the mistake a nice accent to the piece. If you have the time to visit it is well worth your time and an experience you can’t get everyday.
