DO NOT come here for your mental health needs. This place does not care if you live healthily or not. I had a telehealth appointment scheduled, my doctor never showed up. I sent a message to my doctor asking what happened, never heard back. A month later, my prescription needed refilled & they REFUSED to send in a refill (knowing my medication has withdrawal effects) even after i explained to them no one told me my doctor left the practice. The receptionist was extremely rude, questioning my character, etc. She had the audacity to say “if it’s that important to you, why didn’t you call?” AWFUL patient care and customer service. DO BETTER before you have blood on your heads. Mental health is not something to mess with.

It is a horrible place, it seems that the people who work there are forced. They always have a bad attitude. And it seems like they don't know how to do their job.

Dental (10/26/23)I was told I had to reschedule my appointment last week to come this week because the dentist was sick. Understandable.Today I arrive and after waiting, I am told that I will NOT recieve services for which I am scheduled for- due staffing issues... the ENTIRE reason that I am here today is BECAUSE I was told I would do it TODAY!Do you all understand how freaking frustrating this is and to offer me an apology? The same apology that you offered last week for the SAME thing?! Save the apologies. Do better. This is so freaking unprofessional. Someone could have CALLED me and saved me my time AND gas. Neither of which I can get back now. It takes two seconds to be professional and do that. To reach out and say, "What you're coming in to see us for is unavailable, do you still want to come in?" Give me the option to say yes or no.This is the most unprofessional thing ever and I will never be back. I'm beyond pissed. Is someone going to refund me gas and time?? No. Just the apology. Keep it. It's worthless.

It is truly disappointing to have such a low standard set for one of the only healthcare facilities in west Louisville. Simply attempting to make an appointment is close to impossible. I've been attempting to schedule a dental appointment for the past 4 days and have never been able to reach a live person by phone. After leaving multiple messages throughout the day over the past few days I have decided to seek medical attention elsewhere. I even left a message on their compliance line 2 days ago and have yet to receive any response. It is not only disappointing, but very concerning that this facility receives government funding to care for an already disenfranchised community and has such poor customer service and a clearly broken patient appointment process. I would suggest some in depth reviews of the entire establishment to develop a process improvement plan ASAP. My heart weeps for the patients who are completely dependent on this facility for care and are unable to seek care elsewhere. I sincerely hope this message reaches someone who can make things better.

My mother had called them yesterday and they said that they take walk-ins on Monday through Friday and when we went there today they told us that the only take walk-ins on Tuesdays only I'm done with dentist and doctors because when u need them the most they don't ever help u but when u don't need them they always help in the dumbest ways ever all doctors and dentists want u to do is suffer through whatever pain you're in and they basically take in patients that's more important than us that are on a monthly income and that can't pay anything upfront they dont care about the people the only thing they care about is filling their pockets and their policies well I say screw the rich screw the policies help the people who need it most

I took a chance today, Saturday to see the dentist on a first come first serve basis of 4 patients ONLY. The clinic opened at 9:00 and I was the forth patient...I was told to go upstairs where 2 other patients were waiting. After signing in, paying my income based fee, I was taken to the back and prepped all within 15 minutes!!!!! I was greeted by a kind assistant, Rose, minutes later the doctor, this beautiful kind black woman, Dr, Overstreet....she began to explained what was to happen after the Novocain set in... and within 25 minutes my molar tooth was gone.....2 months of pain, 2 months of calling around trying to get a price I could afford, from 350-600, 2 months of oral gel, 2 months and right around the corner, down the street a place with kindness, professionalism and service stood Park Duvalle... To Park Duvalle, and all its employees on this beautiful day, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The entire staff was very pleasant, respectful, and professional. Dr. Giles was great. She was knowledgeable, honest, had very good bedside manners, and put me at ease. A positive experience for me.?

They literally never answer the phone, then by time you finally make it to the building and see someone, good luck getting any info about your visit at all after you leave. I remember going for a vitamin deficiency and feeling sloggish. They did my vitamin a and b and forgot to do D, apologized then had me come in for a free shot to get it right the second time. I really wish the west end had a place that cared

In the past, I looked down on community health centers but things have changed! The doctors and nurses here care about the people of the West End and Newburg. You cannot buy that! That is why I go. The wait times can be an issue so arrive early! The facility is fairly new, which is nice. I do recommend this place. I am thankful for Park Duvalle.

Don't come here if you expect to be seen at your appointed time. Be prepared for a 2 to 3 hour office visit every time. And if you have to get laboratory work or medication bring a snack like I do, that is additional time spent waiting at Park Du Valle Community Health Center. My appointment today was for 1pm and I should have been one of the first patients seen after their Community lunch break. I arrived at 12:30 to relax, watch a movie and calm down before my Blood Pressure is taken. I was taken back to the examination room around 1:08pm. It never fails it is now 2:16 and I still have not been seen by the Doctor. I've been told that I have "white coat syndrome. " I think it's just the frustration of coming to Park Du Valle Community Health Center and having to block out hours of my day to sit and wait for one visit. They have no knowledge of "Time Management " and it doesn't help to tell the infamous people in charge because nothing gets done about it. And they ask me why my blood pressure is always elevated when I come here? Let's think about the unnecessary stresses caused by your lack of concern for your patients. And why do I continue to torture myself with this mistreatment? Finances! I thank God that I don't have to see them every month. If there is a better solution I am open for suggestions. I am now going to the Nurses desk to see if maybe they have forgotten that I am here. Let's see how long now. My time of departure today was around 3:05pm.I really like the Physicians there and have developed a good relationship. However it doesn't matter if what time of day my appointment is, 1st thing in the morning, in between or immediately after lunch it is always a minimum of 2 hours. In the past I thought maybe the Insurance Company pays by the hour which is why we are held hostage in the examination room for so long. I am over the excuses and now going to check with my Insurance Provider to see if they can help.
