Sales person 525734 on 08/07/2023 around 0855, followed me closely around the store. After noticing her following me, I sat my items on the counter by the register. As I went to grab a bag of chips. I have never in my 40 years of life felt so demeaned. I then watched multiple other patrons who were not the same color as me walk through the store freely. One of the customers slipped a bag of chips into her purse and left. Your customer service is despicable and not that I want the young lady fired but I believe she could learn a very valuable lesson in common courtesy and to not discriminate. This entire experience took my trip to Louisville from a 9/10 to a 0/10. Time to retain your staff

The salesperson (32727) is the rudest person I have dealt with in a long time. She acted like it was putting her out to ring up my purchase.

AVOID THIS SHOP! I purchased some lovely earrings and they "wrapped" them up for me. When I opened the package to wear to my niece's wedding later that week, there was NOTHING in the package, just paper. I have been calling for 2-weeks for either a refund or to send the earrings, but again nothing is done. No accountability for any action. AVOID THIS SHOP!

Clean, neat with friendly staff and plenty of stock. Prices are very high as is the case with any airport shop.

There are a number of gift shops located throughout the Louisville airport, and the receipts when you purchase something from any of them say "Paradies Airport Shops - Louisville". The gift shops in this relatively small airport offer a good variety of local Louisville products, including items from Louisville Slugger, Churchill Downs, and of course, lots of brands of Kentucky Bourbon. They also offer the usual water, drinks, snacks, travel supplies and sundries. Why I can only give them 1 star is to warn people about the rip off pricing. I wanted to get a gift for someone back home, and knew they really enjoy Old Fashioneds. I decided to get them a Makers Mark whiskey glass and a bottle of bourbon. Considering I was in the airport in the immediate area where that Kentucky bourbon is made, I assumed the pricing here would be fine. In short, a few days later I found the exact same bottle of bourbon that I bought here at the Louisville airport, in my local liquor store for about $10 cheaper. In fact, my local shop had the 750 ml bottle of that brand cheaper than what I paid for the 375 ml bottle here at this airport store. A quick internet search shows that I overspent for the glass I bought here as well. OK, I get it..You're located in an airport and people are stuck there, many want to try and buy a last minute souvenir before they leave the area, etc. That said, the markups here are excessive from what I discovered. I was also considering buying a miniature Louisville Slugger bat, but once I saw what the gift shops in this airport were charging for them, I passed.

The Paradies Shops in different locations inside the Louisville International Airport are classy and fun, clean and spotless, well lit and well kept and have a wonderful variety of Louisville and Kentucky goods, as well as your usual travel needs, magazines and books, candies and whatnots. I lived in Louisville in the past and before I fly out back to my home now, I always buy bourbon ball candies at Paradies to take home. This specific trip, I found the best horse/Louisville coffee mug that was so artistic you'd expect to find it in a museum gift shop. These shops don't sell cheaply made goods, and what you do buy you know it's not going to fall apart. The staff has always been so hospitable and professional. I actually look forward to spending money in an airport shop when I shop at these shops in Louisville airport.
