I've shopped at Monkee's a few times before, and had great customer service from a young blonde haired woman. Today, 4-4-22, my daughter and I came to shop (Monday afternoon), and were the only ones in the store. The woman working did not greet us, ask us if we needed help or say anything when we left. Ignored us completely. My daughter is in retail management for a small boutique, and was appalled at the salesperson's behavior. I had intended to purchase a gift for a friend, but obviously did not! We went next door to Scout, where we had a lovely shopping experience, largely due to the friendly, hospitable owner!

Adorable clothing and store display. While traveling to Louisville, my friends and I visited your store. I had been to a few other Monkee's stores. The owner, I believe, was in the sale area reworking items and could not have been more rude. She seemed to be annoyed with us for bothering her as we were trying to shop. Even if you are "having a bad day" , you really should tend to the customer.

They have such cute clothes! They are a little more expensive than the stores I usually shop at but they have amazing end of season sales! There are amazing deals when they have these sales and it includes clothes, shoes, jewelry and purses! The staff has always been friendly to me when I go there to shop and very helpful!

Most of the clothes at Monkees are very cute! However, it seems very over priced. You can barely get something from the clearance room under $50. The staff are always younger girls who are clueless and rude. The customer service here isn't great; the location in Lexington is much better.

Such a great boutique. They were so helpful and even wrapped my little gift. Beautiful clothes and shoes for spring.

The items at Monkee's speak for themselves. By that, I mean that nearly every time I complimented a friend's cute new outfit or accessory, she would reply with, "Thanks, I got it at Monkee's!" I finally decided to stop flattering her and get myself in the door to see what treasures awaited me. Located in Chenoweth Plaza at the site of the old PNC Bank, Monkee's is chock full of designer clothing and accessories, as well as cute, locally-inspired items. The decor has an unabashedly feminine feel, consisting of light neutrals with pops of bright, summery colors and books from the likes of Audrey Hepburn displayed on the shelves. It felt like I was walking into a good friend's dream closet, with everything so nicely displayed and uncluttered that I couldn't help but check out every inch of the place. The Frye boots caught my eye as soon as I walked in. I'm still in need of a great pair of riding boots and trying to decide on the color, style, and fit that I want to make my own. The pairs displayed at Monkee's have made my mental short list of ones to keep in mind. What really kept me lingering was the jewelry near the register. Like candy in a grocery store aisle, these bright baubles were made to be added on impulsively to your purchases for the day. I found myself enchanted with some of the Louisville and Kentucky-themed items, namely the fleur de lis and horseshoe motif ones. A Kentucky gal can never have too much local love, and I'm glad Monkee's supports my desire to represent.
