Took my car here to get my ball joints and control arms looked at. Mr. Melton saw me on short notice, and got me in and out the same day. He walked me through the issue in an easy-to-understand way, showed me the damage up code and personal, and quoted me a price (with a cash discount). Good, honest neighborhood mechanic.

Tom was great! Extremely knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Our car got stranded in Louisville and he was able to get it back running in no time. There's no tricks or any hidden pricing. It was an excellent experience!

I had my Lincoln repaired by Meltons, and although it was a very expensive fix, I would not have had anyone else do it. This was hands-down, the best experience for a bad situation (major car trouble - water pump, timing belt). I waited a full 4 weeks to write this review to see how it held up. I’ve taken it out of town twice and it drives better than it did when I first bought it. The mechanic is so honest and nice. I really appreciated that and I appreciated that he worked so tirelessly and got it finished so quickly. If you want your car back in good condition, go here. Thank you Meltons!!!

Melton Auto Service replaced wheel bearing on my Kia Soul 2016. Fair price and excellent work. Later Tom replaced shocks on my 1997 Nissan Truckfor fair price and quality work. Melton's is the only auto repair shop that my husband and I will take our vehicles to. We don't know a ton about vehicle repairs, but Tom is great at explaining what needs to be done and why.
