Being from Michigan, Meijer has stood out for me as my favorite retailers for, literally, decades. On a recent visit we drove out of our way to go to this location because there was something at this location that none of the other Meijer locations in the area carry. No worry, I LOVE Meijer.
Conveniently located off of the Gene Snyder, this location is very easy to see from the expressway and to get to once you get off the expressway.
One of the things I really like about Meijer is that, for the most part, everything is in roughly the same location in every store. Yea, the store layout may be reversed (grocery on the right instead of on the left), but your mind easily adapts to that.
The staff we encountered were helpful, and even walked us to find a specific item. The store was clean and well stocked and organized. I do love the amount of items they carry that are Michigan-based, and their Frederik's line of foodery is every bit as good as the national brands.
While I'm still not a fan of the self checkout (I LIKE to talk to cashiers), these are laid out and handled well, unlike a competitive retailer whose primary color is blue and doesn't care about its customers.
Keeping shopping carts stocked inside seems to have become a burden for just about every retail/grocery store in the world. So much so that I have taken to grabbing one in the parking lot on the way in.
Given a choice, I'll always take Meijer first first. It's been that way for over 40 years.

Great grocery store. Clean, well laid out and well stocked. Covid compliant and friendly service. Love shopping here. Wish it was closer! They have added new rider carts for the handicapped, they are nice.

This has to be the worst Meijer I've ever been to. Staff is generally rude, and it seems like only half of what I need is usually in stock. Also, the electronics section has become a joke, and the restrooms are always dirty. If I can, I go the extra distance to shop at the Hurstbourne Parkway location. Otherwise, I'd rather go to Kroger.

They seem more expensive than Walmart but actually have a lot of items that are cheaper. They also have sales and coupons unlike Walmart. They have items that you see at other stores and more. And their loss prevention team doesn't always follow me around like they do at Walmart.

Meijer offers a great shopping experience with a wide variety of products! ? From groceries to gardening supplies, they have it all! The store is well-organized and easy to navigate, and the produce section is always fresh and well-stocked. ?? The prices are competitive, especially with the mPerks rewards program. The staff is friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist customers. ? The checkout process can be a bit slow during peak hours, but the store is clean and well-stocked.
