I’ve been coming here for 22 years. I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff here have always treated me with respect. Kevin, one of the owners, has always addressed concerns whenever I have been in the store. Also he doesn’t tolerate foolishness from anyone while on the premise. I, for one, appreciate his mannerisms. They have a deli also, food is very good. ?

I have been chasing this manager for 3 days having to cancel plans. Accused a friend of stealing, when he wasn’t even there.

they falsely accused my friend of stealing with no evidence. the manager has played tag with us all weekend and is refusing to cooperate with us. meanwhile the person who is stealing has free reign of the store. the lady behind the food counter is always rude to him, picking on him. I've seen it and heard it, just because you don't like someone doesn't mean you can falsely accuse someone

If I could give a zero I would for this visit I went there to pick up a few things and decided to get some thing from the hot food deli. The older woman behind the counter of the deli was very rude and angry and in my opinion not fit for the job. I felt sorry for the young boys that were working back there with her. I decided I don’t need to be treated this way as a customer so I walked out stating I will just go somewhere else do you lost a $40 sale that day

Store only takes cards if your total is $3+. A large fountain drink and order of potato wedges with tax is like 2.73. They will force you to buy additional in order to use your card. They don't give a rats a** that it's post COVID-19 and the 21st century, as they're stuck in the 20th and too ignorant to care. Plenty other gas/food/etc stores to put up with this level of ignorance!! CYA!!

I moved to the area 2 years ago and stop here frequently on my way home from work. The employees are always friendly and courteous. I've literally been here more than 100 times in 2 years and I've never had a bad experience. I've never purchased any of the fresh cooked food from the deli but it always smells great.

Just spoke to the store owner about the nasty service by the egg n*** in the food service portion of the store. Was informed he's making enough money that she doesn't have to be courteous. I'll never go in that store or spend money at a Marathon gas station again.

Let me start by saying, other than being a little on the raw side the BLT's are pretty good here. Now that being said getting them is a whole different story. The woman that cooks there is well known here where I work as the (BACON N**** if you order a sandwich no big deal! If you order two you get a glare! If you order three you get a glare and a lecture about how your supposed to call your order in in advance then your told it might be twenty five to thirty minutes. My last attempt at buying from them was this week when I called to order BLT's at 6:05 AM and asked to order sandwiches she responded with its according to how many you want and after telling her I wanted 5 and wouldn't be there for almost an HOUR she said NO! I don't have enough bacon and I'm not cooking anymore today then hung up on me!!!! So my advise to anyone reading this is to avoid this place like the plague!

Star Food Mart is a Marathon gas station at the corner of Westport Road and Murphy Lane. They have really good gas station food for a grab and go bite. They have a couple of ladies that come in real early and make breakfast. They open at 5am and when I go, I get there between 5:05-5:15am before work and they're ready to go. They have all the breakfast staples and the sandwiches are huge and a definite value! They are fast and efficient, which is important when you start your day as early as I do and every minute counts. They have a few tables, but mostly everyone orders to go. The deli counter stays open until after lunchtime and keeps cold deli sandwiches in the refrigerated case after that. When I've gone in after work, they've had sandwiches (pastrami, chicken salad, roast beef, etc.), cheeseburgers, salads, and both deviled and hard boiled eggs. You just ask one of the cashiers to go and get it for you if the deli is closed. For lunch, they have the typical hot sandwiches, hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers, and also Broaster fried chicken. The breakfast is my favorite. The bacon sandwich I get has enough bacon for two sandwiches! The convenience store has all the regular items and they have cheap prices on many of their sodas (under $1). Staff is usually pretty friendly. It's way better than getting food from Speedway (just down the street), Thortons, or other fast food.
