I love this place and find myself appreciating this store the more I stop by to shop. The selection is interesting, plants are healthy, AND most importantly prices are good. I was having a hard time finding a living stone that wasn’t sad looking and overpriced but Mahonia had a beautiful cluster of them for only ~$15. Not to mention the side of this store relating to getting artsy with the plants… so cute!!

The coolest plant shop in town! You can always find a great gift here, and the staff is friendly and knows their plants back to front. It's worth stopping by just for the great atmosphere alone. Sammy is a huge fan!

I've never been in the store but has a plant delivered to me from Mahonia this month on my birthday from my Husband. This was such a lovely surprise and meant a lot to me. They hand wrote a lovely note from him and the overall delivery was just lovely. I definitely plan to stop in sometime with my husband and look around together. He has a great experience from what I was told and they customer service went above and beyond to pick out a wonderful plant for me to match the environment that the plant would live in.

Got a new plant. Spent 20$ brought it home and a few days later noticed the leafs had holes. Did some inspecting and noticed bugs. Now I’m worried my healthy plants will be infected. Annoying.

Not only is this the cutest shop ever for houseplants and houseplant accessories, but their dried flower bouquets are absolutely stunning. I come here anytime i need a bouquet (flowers that don’t wilt to give to my loved ones? sign me up!) and i have NEVER been disappointed. Best little shop in Louisville!

This place is a gem!! I've been here a few times now and it's just so fun to look around and experience all the different plants. They sell each plant in various sizes so good for every price point. I bought two this time and they both came with care instructions and I was asked if I wanted further details upon checkout, and everything was explained to me well. I have faith my plants will do well! A definite stop if you're in Nulu and you like plants, like me!

We had my daughter’s 16th birthday there. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish all the way from making the reservation, setup, workshop and clean up. They were so accommodating with asking about what kind of music we’d like to how many tables for gifts, cake, etc. KK did a wonderful job with teaching the workshop to Emily who went above and beyond to get us plastic forks for the birthday cake because I forgot them! Lovely studio with friendly staff!!

We had my daughters 16th birthday there. They were so accommodating with making the reservation, suggesting things to do, setup, workshop and clean up. I forgot forks for the birthday cake and Emily went above and beyond and got us some! She brought in a cute chair for the birthday girl to sit in and open presents. KK was wonderful in teaching their workshop. A delightful experience!

wow. this store is gorgeous and delightful to browse, but it's worth going to just to talk to matt about plants! he gave us so much amazing advice and you can tell he really loves caring for plants and helping other people do it too. he mentioned they do a lot of help content on instagram and you can even DM them for advice. such a gem and amazing resource as well as a beautiful shop!

The store is aesthetic af and beautiful, come for the vibes, stay for the selections. Every plant I’ve bought here has been healthy and thrived. They will educate you on home care and have everything you need. The pots are gorgeous and I love it here. My only complaint would be the amount of merchandise that’s made in China. I wish more was local/domestic. If for no other reason than we know the markup on Chinese imports is probably way too high. Still love this place and they seem to focus more on local, boutique, and ethical merchandise, and I appreciate that the products are labeled as such.

If you're looking for a beautiful plant to care for or gift, or if you just need time to disconnect, and you want to be around good vibes and greenery you must check out Mahonia! There is SO much beauty and light here!! You can tell right away that all the plants are truly loved! And when you check out they are well packaged with a care card for their journey home.
