I was moving last year out of Louisville in a hurry, and brought some item to the owner Eric for consignment. I was sort of prepared to never see any funds or at the very least see nothing for the items I left. The items were a bit pricey so I was taking a risk. I didn’t contact the store for over 9 months, and when I did send an email, I was relatively sure I was going to have to butt head with the store. To my complete surprise, Eric said they had a check for me but were unable to contact me, due to my own mistake. He went out of his way to get the funds to me and that says a lot about his character.I would absolutely use Louisville Pawn Depot again. It’s an honest and fair business, and that’s all anyone can ask for. Thanks Louisville Pawn Depot and the owner Eric for treating this customer right!

I purchased a Macbook from Louisville Pawn Depot and am super pleased with my experience. Not only was Eric friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy, he was very fair in pricing and his treatment of our transaction. The store is clean and orderly, with a lot of personality in its decor. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and do business with them in the future.

?VIDEO GAME COLLECTORS. THIS REVIEW IS FOR Y'ALL?Was there a few days ago. They definitely had a good selection of video games which I gave 2 stars. However, they're the type of Pawn shop that don't have majority of their stuff labeled and check the value real time and sell it for market value.I'm not saying they should lower it tremendously, but you go to pawn shops to find deals. Not market value price. Tried to see if they'll go lower, but they'll only budge $5 that the price they offered. You might as well go to half price books/game xchange to find better gaming deals.

I had quite the enjoyable experience. He is a very fair and knowledgeable man. We made a trade but I returned home with a piece of jewelry that did not exactly fit who I gifted it to. I immediately returned to the pawn shop with the ring and he helped me find another. He also said if that did not work to come back and we would find something that would. You do not find this to be the case with most businesses. He went above and beyond to make sure we were both happy and I look forward to our future transactions.

To be fair, here is the good and bad.Good: The place is clean, the person running it seemed to be clean cut, well mannered. He was friendly enough. Large selection of old retro games, which was why I was there. The overflow bin of games is reasonable in price, but you will not find any hidden treasures in it, most of it is bulk or sports titles. I did find a couple titles I picked up that were just under ebay pricing, but we are talking a couple bucks on $6.50 games.Bad: While I understand people have to make a living, and if he is able to sell his retro games for the pricing he has, then more power to him. He does not price the more popular games in his glass case, and does market pricing. Not sure what he references, but the price he provided for a game out of the case was a few dollars MORE than the cheapest buy it now price on ebay for the same complete in box game with manual. So not really any good deal here. The games on the shelves that are marked, are about the same as ebay pricing, +/- a dollar or two.Overall, I dont think I will be back. Not because I had an unpleasant experience, but because I wasnt wowed by his pricing. If you are bored and want to get out and about and look at retro games, and are passing by, then maybe I would look. But I would not run to this shop expecting to find good deals on games or hidden jems that are underpriced.

Bought a Fender Guitar - somewhat rare Telecaster, was leery of doing online, but Eric was responsive, and helpful. The guitar is amazing and I definitely got a great price for it. Shipped fast and safely - well packed. You can certainly trust these guys.

I purchased a Dewalt inspection camera kit from Louisville Pawn Depot and couldn't be happier with my experience and how everything turned out. I was purchasing from out of state from a listing I found online. Staff offered to send additional photos verifying condition and function before I even asked. Eric was polite, prompt and followed through with everything we discussed. I would buy from these guys again as they have my confidence given my positive buying experience. Thanks!

Highly recommended. They were willing to work with me on shipping an item that was not originally intended to be shipped. They sent me photos and buying options, and then once I made the decision they sent me tracking updates, and even eventually checked in to make sure everything got to me in once piece. It was nice dealing with a real person who wanted to make sure I got what I was looking for.

While searching the internet for a very specific guitar, I found one for sale at Louisville Pawn Depot at a very fair price. I contacted them for more information and spoke with Eric who could not have been more helpful and professional. I ended up making the purchase and based on dealing with Eric I was really confident in my decision. This was late on a Monday and the guitar was delivered to my door on Thursday. It was just as described and I could not have been more pleased. Everything was as advertised! I hope I get the chance to do business with Louisville Pawn Depot again!

I was in a bind and my computer was borderline acceptable, but they worked with me and came to a very acceptable compromise. Advantages of working with a small/local business. Definitely recommend talking to them first.
