My mama passed away Feb 4, 2024 . And this month has been the hardest month of my life but Shannon & Mike from Legacy Funeral Center - Schoppenhorst Chapel has made everything so much smoother & a whole lot easier , leaving my only job for me to do for my mama was to grieve and miss her . They seriously go above and beyond to make you feel not only as if your at home , but that you are family . I don’t think I would’ve gotten through this hardest time of my life without Mike and Shannon . They even have a special amazing way about how they know what you need , want , and feel . They do everything they can to make the worse day of your life a whole lot better . The best choice I’ve made since no longer having my mama with me is choosing this funeralHome . I would recommend them to any and everyone ! Not to mention they are very affordable and work endless to help make fees even more affordable then any other funeral home in the area . I will forever hold a special place in my heart for Shannon and Mike . God bless the both of you .On another note I am so sorry to all the families grieving a loved one . Shannon and Mike provided my family with such strong care, support, and empathy while losing three members in a two-month time frame. Shannon worked tirelessly to ensure my family had what we needed and questions being asked. They worked with my family financially to ensure our loved ones were honored in both presentation and service. On behalf of my family, I would love to personally thank Legacy for all they have done.

I worked with Sheila and Shannon for the arrangements/service, both did absolutely wonderful. They really went the extra mile to ensure all of our wants/needs were met and to make the process as stress-free as possible. The minister, Joey did a phenomenal job on the service. I highly recommend this location, you won't be disappointed.

They say in life, it is always about the first impression and the last impression you remember forever. I can honestly say that my children will be traumatized for the rest of their lives for what they seen. My childrens mother look nothing how she should have looked, her head was not positioned properly, the casket was too small to the point her right arm was falling out of the casket, and to top it off family members had to continuously wipe Embalming fluid from her eye, mouth, and nose the entire 4 hours we were there. My daughter was having a meltdown to the point I was going to have the casket closed so no one else would witness what was going on. The job that was performed show the lack of dignity and respect they have for the entire family to allow Bobbie Mitchell to leave this earth in that state. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau first thing in the morning. Just flat out Despicable!!!!!!

Neurath and schoppenhorst has helped my family a few different times but the last time was for my mother wanda martin their services where great price was half of another funeral home and they kept me informed about everything they also provided an amazing sweet woman pastor who did an excellent job i dealt with Mary the most and they help u feel like the stress of losing her was made easier with their help will use them again

they were very accommodating, they are truly amazing people. they allowed me to run everything exactly how I wanted and really personalize the funeral & service for our family. their team kept up with me and were very attentive to our family & friends. the director's Billy & Chad were beyond incredible, they kept me in good spirits, kept me informed at all times & made the process a whole lot easier on me.
