Friendly staff every time I go there. The store could use a refresh/remodel, but overall it's well stocked and organized.

Dangerous as hell! This store has crime written all over it. The parking lot is sketchy and the store has open food all over it and it's just dirty.Bet this one closes soon too if it keep going this bad.

Don’t like having to work for free to patronize a buisness. If you have to do self checkout should get a discount on your purchase.

Pharmacy does a great job ! U scan could be more attentive to customers when the scanner for items has you on freeze& you notice a couple times different employees laughing in conversation with customer& not paying attention& or just slow walking up& down isle like hating to be there! Trouble with the Healthy Food Card everytime! They use over the food stamp card which takes the entire order amount! Have been 3 different registers over this& in bad breathing, walking & back problems!

We shop at this Kroger when we're in town visiting. Nice store with a retro feel. Definitely smaller selection, but it's a smaller store. Fits the bill for us. Friendly staff, people asking if we need help finding anything. Used to go to Goss Kroger, but found this one to be a more enjoyable shopping experience.

Great store that had everything I needed! The manager gave me free brownies when I was checking out!

This is the worst Kroger I've been to in Louisville by far. The store itself is small in size and the inside comes off as more of a Dollar General with all the merchandise stacked up in the aisles. Some of the employees blatantly walk in front of you and then block your way when trying to navigate the aisles and they just stare at you like you're a problem. Also a small selection compared to the other Krogers in the city. None of the lanes were open besides the self checkouts when I had two very large grocery orders each around 300$ which I didn't mind using the self checkout until the managers walked up and began laying into the man running the self checkout kiosk for letting me do so. Not a good look to yell at your employee in front of customers about not letting them use self checkout when he is the only worker around. He can't abandon his post just to open a line and check me out and if anything the managers should've rolled up their sleeves and set an example instead of berating the boy. This business is so close to my job and we spend hundreds to thousands on groceries each month but I will drive to other parts of Louisville for groceries just to avoid giving this Kroger business again.

Love Kroger, and the selection can't be beat. Prices are not the greatest, but if you use kroger rewards, it is better. That is the case anywhere right now. But it's always worth visiting and my second choice right behind Meijer.

People, Kroger is cutting jobs! Self checkout is a way for them to stop employing cashiers. We're losing jobs at a time when we need them. SKIP THE SELF CHECKOUT AND USE A CASHIER!

Quite a small store. Almost claustrophobic feeling! Tiny front lanes that get crowded very easily.I'm surprised Kroger didn't take advantage of the Kmart moving out of the same plaza, to expand and make a suitable size Kroger. This isn't my main store, but I do visit on occasion. Still, a nice store.

The guy outside working needs to put the trash back down and go inside the booth and work instead of telling people that nobody's out here right now.

I've had a soft spot for this Kroger since I first moved back to Louisville as an adult. Savvy Kroger-hoppers knew that this was the spot for the best, most frequent manager's specials. As an added bonus, unlike the Goss Avenue Kroger down the road, this one felt like a cozy neighborhood grocery instead of a destination for Chore Boys and glass roses. Let's give Goss Kroger some credit, it's come a long way in recent years, but the Poplar Level store is still my favorite. The manager's specials are still great, bare shelves are rarely an issue and the staff is a welcoming, easygoing crew. Much like the Mid-City Mall Valu Market, this Kroger has stayed defiantly old-school, yet it's also clean and sensibly designed. Great spot for a time warp and some superb bargains.
