the employees are always very genuine, pleasant, and helpful. however, i often have trouble with the self-checkout not applying my coupons, it can be a bit crowded, and i wish they had baskets or more of the smaller carts.

This would be my favorite Kroger location no matter where I live.. I grew up going to this Kroger as a kid with my grandparents when it was WinnDixie. Customer service desk is okay most of the time. For cashing checks and other business. You will always have the occasional lottery customer you'll have to wait on like every other store. Or money orders.. That's just the way it is. But I like to go to this location because I know where everything is and grew up in the neighborhood. Good location, also for gas !

their produce consistently sucks. I bought a napa cabbage yesterday, opened it up to eat it today only to find it covered in dead fruit flies. is nobody doing quality checks on the produce?

Pay attention to the items you pick up, most aisles is full of mouse poop and for how much, they clearly don’t clean properly

Never has carts, especially not for disabled. Small carts are never available, or people stash their carts (and park) in the spaces for wheel chair users. Assisted carts are rarely charged. People routinely put meat products in the few areas for plant based foods. The aisles are too narrow. The customers rush around like it's a game show. If you're disabled, I recommend going the extra mile or two to the Central Ave or Bardstown Rd Krogers. The aisles are wider, the clientele is less likely to mow you down and/or leave carts in your access points.

Stopped in 8am yesterday morning. The Facebook post about the freeze wasn't great. I had the best customer service. Wow. The produce lady went in back to crab green onions. She brought a whole tray to restock. Everything was getting reset for the day. The lady in meat was absolutely pleasant. She helped with the frozen shrimp. Now dairy she was a ray of sunshine so pleasant. When it came to check out I would not have past the test. Brandon had to watch five or six mini movies to make I wasn't doing nothing wrong however he was so patient and kind and got me out of there without going to OLOP if you know you know. Fabulous job people. I really liked it. Very nice.

Lacking in the produce department, they are just out of things like cilantro, green onion, bean sprouts. Their product spoils faster than other grocery stores. The rest of the dry goods are pretty standard like all the other Krogers other than the bardstown road or east end ones.
Always busy so they really should invest in the area.
People are nice but understaffed and don't have proper training sometimes.

I enjoy going into that store the people who work there have really great attitudes there they treat you like someone unlike the place on Kroger's on 28th and Broadway I would not go back there to 28th and Broadway I've choose to go back to Goss avenue where I feel comfortable and it's so clean there and at least when you go there the service desk is always open no excuses why it's not and if you can't find something at golf someone's there going to help you out and I'm going to tell you what I have a great experience there I love their store it's beautiful they just treat you so good they treat you like your family and I truly think everybody in that store and I want to say God bless to all of you all and I hope you all have a great day and special times are coming for everybody who works there

The deli fried chicken was some of the worst I have ever had.

I ordered a cake for my son’s 19th birthday and the cake was ugly I’m so very unimpressed it and the writing on it looked like a child did it.
There’s nothing I can do about this.
They have to do better.
