This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used. I have pneumonia and the medication I was prescribed they didn't have in stock. That itself isn't the issue. The pharmacist recommended I just take CHILDREN'S dimetapp instead. I'm a grown woman with pneumonia. I instead called Walgreens next door and found out that they had the medication in stock. Kroger pharmacy said they would fax it over. Walgreens was near close time so they said it would be the next day. Fast forward to the next day, Kroger never faxed it. So when we tried to pick it up from Walgreens, they still hadn't received it and couldn't give it to me. Still trying to sort out a way to get the medication the next day with no resolve as of yet. Probably going to have to go back to Dr to re prescribe somewhere else. That will mean roughly 3 days with pneumonia that I could have had treatment for that I won't.

This pharmacy is run by snobs and people power tripping. Controlled substances shouldn't be played with in the manner they do. Pharmacist Sarah, if she doesn't like you, will hold back your medications, often vital ones, make up reasons you can't get it, and has to be argued with and corrected every single month.Ever since getting my Testosterone filled at this location, I've suffered unfair treatment. After getting all of my medications switched to a new pharmacy, expect a report to the Board of Pharmacists. I've endured mistreatment long enough. No one deserves to be dismissed and mocked the way they have me.

When I pull up to the pharmacy window at 12:40 and it is closed and says they are at lunch at 1:00 it is very frustrating.

I hate this pharmacy. I’ve never felt like this about a pharmacy until this one. The most rude, incompetent, and unhelpful staff I’ve ever seen. Should I start at us going through the drive thru and no one answering us, then going inside only to see the girl leaning on the table not helping anyone, or to everyone one of them telling us something wrong about a prescription we need? I hope you’re not in pain and deal with this pharmacy. They don’t value human life.

Thus far, my experiences with this Kroger, specifically the pharmacy, have been a nightmare.I just moved to Louisville from Richmond and wanted to have my prescriptions sent to this Kroger's pharmacy since it's nearest to my new home. I was experiencing issues on the app, so I called the pharmacy to make sure they successfully received the refill request. The line rang for over 30 minutes before I eventually gave up and hung up.That didn't seem normal, so I called the general store number to ask if the pharmacy's phone line was functioning properly. They were short with me and said "ma'am, they are just VERY backed up. Do you want to speak to a manager?"I really didn't have intentions of speaking to a manager, but what the heck, couldn't hurt, right? Wrong.I nicely explained what I was trying to do to the manager and asked if the pharmacy's phone was working since it had rang for over 30 minutes without being answered, and she said the exact thing the CS associated had just said, that they were "backed up". She then said she'd "make them answer my call" and immediately transferred me back to the pharmacy before I could even reply. Sadly, I sat with the line ringing for another 15 minutes before eventually giving up for good. It's clear the staff is making a concerted effort to ignore the ringing phone lines, or have perhaps even taken the phone off the hook or turned the ringer off. They refuse, even if requested by management, to assist their customers.I came to Google to look at the reviews to see if this was normal for this location, and low and behold, this seems to be everyone's experience. I just called my Richmond Kroger location earlier today and got through in less than 3 minutes, so this is certainly not normal. No one should be stuck on hold with a local pharmacy for over 30 minutes just trying to ask a simple question about their medication.I understand if they're short staffed or backed up, but how hard would it be to have an answering service where you could leave a message? How can someone at the main desk answer the phone immediately, but there's no one in the pharmacy that can answer the phone for over an hour? It's all very confusing. Even a message that said "We're experiencing high call volumes, you may be on hold for an extended period of time" would be better than the phone ringing continuously forever. A ringing tone insinuates someone will eventually answer, that which they never do.It's safe to say I will be filling my prescriptions elsewhere. I am a loyal Kroger shopper and do like receiving the rewards points for my prescriptions, but I'd drive across town before I'd deal with people who have no respect for their customers or their time. I owned a business for 10 years and while you do get busy, you absolutely cannot just choose to ignore people. Come up with a better system to manage callers or don't have a phone line. End of story!

Yesterday our doctor called in a prescription to the Fern Creek Kroger pharmacy while we were standing next to him. He actually talked to the pharmacist to place the order for the script. We never got a notification that the medication was filled. I called the pharmacy today and inquired if the prescription was filled. They swore that our doctor never placed the order and that they had not talked to our doctor at all. I called our doctor and she put me on speaker when they called again to place the order for the medicine so I could hear it was actually done. I waited 4 hours and called the pharmacy to see if the prescription was received and filled. They swore again that the doctors office never called and that they did not have any prescription for my husband. This is beyond acceptable considering we actually heard both phone calls where our doctor actually talked to the pharmacist.

This pharmacy is TERRIBLE. So incredibly SLOW every time I go and there is almost always a significant line of people waiting. Lately the drive through window isn’t even an option anymore—I assume due to short staffing…maybe if they decided to pay their technicians a livable and acceptable wage for the amount of work, they might see a different in their staffing. They have two windows inside and I have NEVER seen more than one window being used to help people. They also take incredibly long to fill scripts compared to other pharmacies. I have been coming to this pharmacy for YEARS and each time I visit, I am reminded again that I need to switch to a different option.

Staff is very friendly and they always look for the best price for me. This pharmacy has gotten better than it used to be as far as service and getting prescriptions on time.

Ever wish your pharmacy was run like the DMV? Then transfer your scripts here! Terrible service, always closed, and never convenient!

Drive through window is never open, unfriendly service, close whenever they want to. Arrived at 640 and they were completely closed even though they are supposed to be open until 7.

Slow slow slow. Plus they have now cut their business hours way back. Not to mention most of the time they close the drive thru and you have to come inside and wait in a line of 20 ppl. Employees are dismissive and rude.

Really dismissive, do not answer the phone, I’ve needed their help with records and they brush me off and try to get me out of there. Tell me to check with other places just for those places to tell me that the Kroger Pharmacy is responsible and send me right back. Been trying to get a hold of them for weeks and they don’t answer the phones. Act like they’re so busy when half of them are sitting around joking.
