Long lines, poor communication, text service is inconsistent and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!

Service is poor! Say prescription is ready then go to pick up when they open says it will be another 30 minutes

My father is dying from cancer and they're making us jump through hoops to get his pain meds. We let the Dr send the script to Kroger because we thought it would be faster than my parents' mail order service. That was a mistake. They've not once answered the phone when I've tried calling them. The only reason they're getting any stars is because the two ladies who were at the window were at least kind and empathetic. I don't know if other Kroger pharmacies are like this, but at least avoid the one at Tyler Center if you can.

I've been waiting a month and a half for Kroger to transfer a prescription to CVS. It's like it's being held hostage. CVS has tried several times to contact Kroger Pharmacy, but said that they could never get someone to answer. I've wound up having to call all of my doctors and specialists to get them to re-prescribe all of my medications and send them to CVS. The doctors and CVS reps all agreed that Kroger Pharmacy is impossible to work with because of the customer service. To cap things off, the lady that works the register is, as others have mentioned, unhelpful to the point of being rude. When I asked in person about transferring prescriptions, she said "I can't do that" and wouldn't elaborate, tell me the correct transfer process, or answer any further questions, just kept saying "I can't do that". Yikes. In the past when I've asked her questions about prescription cost, making sure my insurance was entered correctly, etc., she was just as rude. My husband has had similar interactions with her. I'd call to speak to a manager, but since my calls have never gone through, I'm not even going to try.

You would think with a 1.8 review, they’d take it serious and work on their costumer service. However, I just called to get an answer to an easy question. I’m sure I didn’t word it correctly and use the jargon that pharmacy techs understand but Melanie made sure that I knew that I was making no sense and was completely rude the entire call. She told me four times that I was interrupting her lunch break (not sure why she answered, if she was going to be that inconvenienced). I told her sorry and that I can call back later and she told me that I wouldn’t be able to and that nobody would answer. Not sure what that even meant. I’ve never had luck with this pharmacy and blame myself for letting it get this out of hand.

I called with 10 minutes to spare before closing with a very important question. I heard someone pick up the phone and immediately hang it up again. When I called back, the phone rang for 9 minutes with no one answering.Sad to say the customer service in person isn't much better. The lines are long, the service slow, and the general vibe is one of disorganization.I was even given the wrong medication on one occasion. Fortunately, I caught that one myself.I am switching to CVC.

Customer service is almost always well done, except during self-checkout times. Other than that, I mostly recommend it!

The word “slow” doesn’t quite do this place justice. I rarely need a prescription so I keep going back. But when I do, I wait. And wait. And wait…. I just waited 20 minutes for them to tell me the prescription I requested last week hasn’t been filled…. They blamed my doc.

Quick, easy, and friendly. I've had other pharmacies that were either okay, or sometimes downright awful, even times where I felt unwelcome and judged for getting my medications -- sometimes to the point where I was afraid to go to the pharmacy. Kathy in the drive-thru, along with everyone else, made this my best experience at a pharmacy ever. 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely terrible. Lines are always long, will never answer the phone as I've tried all different times of the day. My medicine I was told was out of stock on Friday and told it would be in Tuesday, however for the next week and half I checked almost every day and kept getting told it should be here but no one could give me any answer when and the employees were nothing but rude. I will be switching asap. Will stop shopping here as well.

Refuses to answer the phone for the pharmacy. Slowest pharmacy, worst customer service, under staffed, zero communication with patients. I’m pretty sure this pharmacy unplugs their phones on purpose

After today I will be switching pharmacies. Had major surgery a week ago and needing a prescription. My dr called it in early this morning, called to check the status and says my prescription won’t be ready til next day. Which is unacceptable to me, trying to call and speak with someone is an absolute nightmare! No one will answer the phone, I even attempted to contact customer service to transfer me and still no one will answer. I understand places are short staffed, but this is just beyond ridiculous. So save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else for your prescriptions!

UPDATE: my husband submitted our toddler daughter’s prescription for an antibiotic TO A PERSON who accepted it and told him it would be ready in an hour. He showed up 2 hours later, waited in a horrendous line only to be told that they didn’t fill the prescription because it didn’t have frequency on it. NOBODY phoned us and they claim they phoned our pediatrician (who literally has one employee aside from the MD) who later confirmed no one from the pharmacy called. It’s been 3 hours and my husband is in yet another 30+ minute wait line. What an absolute joke. The drive thru is always closed, lines are 10+ people deep at ALL times. I keep saying I’m going to transfer my prescriptions but this takes the cake. Doing it ASAP. DO NOT trust your prescriptions to this terrible pharmacy.

Things are better now. We had a very rough patch there for a while. But lines are better now and service is better. The drive thru is open again. Pharmacist very helpful. They still do not answer phones. This needs to be improved.
