I recently started throwing pottery and wanted to purchase supplies from a small business. I browsed the KY Mudworks website a couple times, but preferred being able to look at glazes in person before buying, so when I found out I'd be visiting Louisville for an event, I made sure I would have some time to stop in to the store while I was in the area. I was the only customer in the store when I arrived, and the employee at the counter let me browse, but was there to answer questions and look up pricing when I needed her. She also offered to hold my selections at the counter while I continued browsing. They have such a wide variety of glazes and tools at various price points too. They were also consistent about having test tiles on different types of clay for each glaze, which was exactly why I wanted to visit in person. I picked up a good amount of items and made notes of what I'd like to purchase next time, likely online. Loved my experience here and will definitely keep buying from this store.

Stopped in to get some clay, glazes, and tools while traveling home to IN. They had a good supply of everything despite a significant shortage of pottery supplies right now. The young lady who helped me was super helpful and very kind. It was my first time visiting this store, but I will be back.

Staff were very helpful. Staff wore mask correctly and sanitized pens at checkout. Staff assisted with purchase decision over pre-mixed clear glaze versus powder glaze and saved me $!
