Jefferson animal hospital Fern Creek is the best! we just moved so we changed our vet to here for our Bentley. He Just had his wellness check and shots! they were amazing and he seemed to do really well, I especially liked the knowledge Dr Kennedy had and gave me!! thank you! Kim Gurr

These folks have been taking care of my pets since 1977. I could not ask for better care than these professional pet lovers. They are good with people too. I recently left my phone in the exam room because of my little dogs robust temperament and outside the office he succeeded in helping lose our paper work. The wonderful ladies in the clinic called my home even before I got there. Thank you ladies you are greatly appreciated. Now I have to get my bully girl in.

Very thankful for the care they showed my sick pup. They were so kind and thoughtful. Every staff member made sure to thoroughly communicate all along the way, which is so important when you're stressed about your sick fur child. The vet tech, Karen, was especially great & treated our girl so well. We will definitely be back.

Avoid this place. You have to make an appointment because they are still not letting patients into the building because of Covid. They then make you wait at least 30 minutes before they will even call you about your animal. Finally when the people seated at the desk you can see from the outside finally come and get your animal it will be another 30 minutes to an hour before they call you with a very expensive list of things that have to be done. I wanted my dogs nails clipped and I was told he would have to get a full check up; for a nail trim. They are expensive, unreliable and full of excuses.

Friendly staff. Been here a few times and they always take adequate time with your concerns. A little pricier than others in the area but VERY convenient so that's usually not inexpensive.

Switching to a new vet I was worried at first. But this staff is amazing! Very friendly and informative. I felt good leaving my dog with them through his surgery. I like that they keep in touch with you through the whole process. You know everything they’re doing before they do it. It’s a peace of mind. The night he got out of surgery and sent home the doctor called to check on him. The next day the doctor called to check on him. That just shows me care and dedication! I will definitely continue to take Ruger and Gator here!!

My dog needed spay surgery and my usual vet had to put me on a waiting list. I am so glad I did research and followed through with Jefferson Animal Hospital. The pre-op process was very thorough and health concerns were addressed directly to me before anything was started. The surgery went better than I expected and it's like I have a brand new dog. I am so happy with the care received that I am transferring to them for all of her veterinarian care. If I could give 10 stars... I would!

I have taken my older dog there for 10 years. I got a new puppy that has been going as well. My puppy has a UTI and in a lot of discomfort. They tell me they can get her in tomorrow. What??? I am a long time client and my puppy is in pain and you can’t get us in today. We will be taking our business somewhere else. Why do we spend time building a relationship with a vet if they turn their back on you in a time of need.

Being a dog parent can be hard sometimes (and expensive). My doggo has been "kicked out" of a couple of vet spots around town due to his extreme anxiety/behavior when visiting the doctor. True story. This place was recommended to me because of their ability to work with dogs like mine. They take their time in trying to put your pup at ease and even offer "happy visits" which are exactly that. My dog, Truman, enjoys going just for treats, treats, and more treats. The verdict is still out on whether this training will make real vet visits better but at least we won't be told to find another vet. Ha!

Words will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I hold for Dr. Corbett and Jinnie Woods. They treated my baby and my family with the most care and compassion I could have asked for. My baby was very very sick and they absolutely let us take time making a very tough decision, allowing all the time we needed to say goodbye. Absolutely made a very difficult situation so much more bearable. Thank you both so much!!

I cannot express enough how good we were treated here. Our dog had been very sick for a long time and unfortunately we had to make the decision to let him go. Nothing could have made this easy but dr. Hoelter made it as easy and comforting as possible. The entire staff was very thoughtful and attentive during this very difficult time. My entire family thanks you for your compassion.
