Historic old Louisville offers some beautiful architecture that has been well maintained since the early 1900s. Well worth strolling through the area and maybe catching some food in the local eatery’s.

HistoricParts of old Louisville are kind of rough,but take a walk down Third Street, and see the homes. I took a bike ride and almost ended up at U L. They are in Excellent condition. Then there are also the ones on in Belgravia Court. They remind you what Old Louisville is all about.
Old Louisville is an electric, fascinating neighborhood that has been gaining national recognition because of its impressive collection of its haunted history and Victorian mansions. Built primarily between 1880 and 1890, Old Louisville once counted as the most sought-after residential enclave in the Derby City. Based on the books by author and storyteller David Dominé, who is an expert on Old Louisville and its history, tours of the neighborhood are given daily from mid-May through mid-November. The tales shared involve personal experiences and neighborhood gossip of Old Louisville.
