Thanks to Chris Woods for his help this morning. Stopped in to pick up some specific epoxy needed. It wasn’t an up sale but more of a time saver, Chris wanted to make sure I had the correct hardware to use this epoxy. I didn’t so he saved me an extra trip back to Hilti. We had an account setup already so Chris made it easy to get in and out. Thanks for your help Chris!

I wanted to purchase a TE 2000 Performance package electric breaker. I Called into the main number on May 19th and found that all items were available in the local store. I had the items prepped for will call and called into the store that morning to confirm & paid for the items. I sent in an employee to simply pick up the items. The store manager didn't have the items in package form and started to piece together the package from the internet. I had printed out the package contents and part numbers for my guy to go over before leaving the store. It is a $ 2,800.00 investment. While the store manager is on the phone and looking on the internet; my person has pulled the entire package contents from stock less the (2) flat chisels and (2) pointed chisel heads. It seems that though the items are shown in stock with the online ordering team, the store can't find them. I opt to purchase two additional heads since I'm now paying a person to pull inventory and wait around for the manager to figure what I've already been charged $ 2,961.74. I still need the tools, I'm still losing time and money with an employee so I bite the bullet and proceed on with the understanding I am going to receive the additional heads by the May 24th. Approximately an hour later I start receiving possible fraud notifications on my business CC & my card is frozen. It seems that the manager of the Hilti store has decided to take it upon himself to start changing my current order and reordering other items. This unauthorized decision has now taken up $ 6,800.94 of available credit on my card. I call the store and the manager apologizes and says that he is cancelling out the charges. I call the main number and the general response is one of sorrow, but that they are only pending charges and they will not go thru. It should not be a problem. It's now a full 48hrs. since these fraudulent charges have been initiated. I called again today and the young man that I spoke with told me I shouldn't worry it's the banks money. So I returned all the tools unused back to the Louisville store. My CC that I run my business thru had to be unfrozen. I spent three days unable to make purchases because of Hilti's managers decision. Thanks Hilti for taking from my clients time. On a closing note, this same manager did the same thing in January on a purchase of a $ 391.14 laser. I just received the credit, which Hilti wouldn't allow me to use to purchase the new tool but had to send me a check.
