Be very careful renting from Hertz here in Louisville. They charged me for a full tank of gas even though I returned it completely full!

Service was friendly, but not sure why the checkout took 5-7minutes per person with gold status. Staff were helpful, and even the one in training was working hard and smiling.

Rented a car one way to O'Hare, 1 day rental. Returned the car early same day before my international flight. A few days later I get a receipt showing I was charged for multiple days and a late fee. Had to call customer service several times before they would they would issue a refund. They lied several times and said the refund had been issued when it had not. On subsequent calls they said there was a "glitch in the system" and that's why the overcharge had not been issued. I almost called my credit card company to issue a chargeback when I finally got a partial refund weeks later. The refund still was not for the full amount I was owed but after spending several hours on getting this rectified I finally gave up. This is not even mentioning the poor customer service I received when trying to pick up my car. They didn't have vehicles ready and I had to wait with a bunch of other people over an hour before they had vehicles ready at their scheduled times. Employees bringing the cars over had no sense of urgency at all and didn't care about customers schedules. All in all, a terrible customer experience and I will avoid future business with Hertz at all costs. Next time I will pay more and choose a different rental agency that hopefully is a better experience.

Louisville Airport Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty. Friendly desk service. Went to get our car not there. We were told to take same model that was dirty and cracked windshield. It was checked by employee to get out and noted diff car with crack by car id sticker. 2 months later we are being told to pay $900. Won’t call me just threats. Go to Enterprise treat customers professionally much more honestly.

Twice now, I have attempted to rent from them. I fly from Denver, so the Non-stop arrives before midnight.Both times, no one was at the counter when I landed. The holiness is closed at 11 p.m. The first time, they got me a car the next day. This time, they canceled my reservation.It doesn't stop there. This time, I was offered a refund twice. I never got a refund. When filing a chargeback, they refused to refund, and now I am in for a protracted fight.Do not, under ANY circumstances, rent from Hertz, especially this location. They own Payless as well.Ask the Enterprise people a few counters over. Apparently, this location and Hertz do this all the time.

i would give less stars if I could. Second time using them trying to give them the benefit of a doubt. The lady the takes your reservation at the desk very unhelpful to solving a problem that they created. If you do not have what was ordered you might want to have a number of different options to help with the situation. Was very bland and dry to the situation like it was our fault. Try to avoid renting from this place.

I had a great experience. Arrived in the evening on a weekday. There was a small sign at the Hertz desk near luggage pickup that I didn't see at first, but when I did I was able to go down to the car area to pick up my car. Had to wait a few minutes, but when I did I received excellent service. All my questions were answered and I appreciated being given a Toyota Camry. Upon returning the car a few days later, it was easy to drive in, leave the keys in the car and go directly to the airport. 10 minutes later my receipt was emailed to me.Will definitely rent a car with them again.

Had a decent experience renting from Hertz. Car was clean and good. They could not find a car from the category I booked so they gave me a free upgrade. No marketing push and requests to take additional service. Customer service was satisfactory. Recommend.

I checked in and have been here for over 20 minutes with a line of 15 customers behind me waiting for cars. They, we all have reservations. They don't have the personnel to handle the customers. I keep hearing there at shift change! This airport Hertz at SDF is not very well staffed. They are friendly.

Super easy process from beginning to end. I reserved a small SUV via the Hertz website. Hertz sent all info and reminders via email leading up to the reservation date. Upon the travel date, I received an almost brand new Nissan Rogue-less than 3,000 miles and super clean inside. There was a little difficulty with pickup as they received a request for a small SUV transfer to another airport just as I was to pick up mine. An employee started to drive off with the vehicle assigned to me, but I flagged him down. He said I could just choose any other vehicle in the same size class but I requested the one assigned to me. He handed over the keys with no issue. I received my final receipt via email almost immediately after returning. No hidden/extra charges. I'd rent from them again.
