Capable and trustworthy! I have a heavily modified 2013 VW GTI. It's a passion project. German Imports has been able to help me fix several problems and do complete kit replacements for some older parts of the car. Along the way, they helped me understand exactly what was being worked on and how they were diagnosing the car's issues. They even helped me secure parts that were difficult to find. Their prices were very reasonable and they were always friendly. I highly recommend this mechanic. Nothing is too difficult for them and they have never tried to squeeze me for money. They have a great team and a great shop, exactly what you want from your mechanic.

Took my car there for the first time and they told me I had an oil leak. When I back a few weeks later they told me they would have to do another diagnosis to find where the oil leak was coming from. So I took it in and they called me back a few hours later to tell me they couldn’t find where the leak was coming from but decided to give me an oil change and steering power fluid without calling to see if that was okay first. Charged me over $100 for them to tell me they couldn’t find the leak and do a service I didn’t ask for.

I’m absolutely compelled to write this positive review. I first want to acknowledge the owner Steve for his honesty and integrity, in telling me the truth, that I WASN’T in need of auto service. It is rare, to have mechanic charge no fee for a quick diagnostic. Although, I didn’t receive any auto repairs, I must say, I was truly impressed with Steve and his wonderful staff! Being a woman, in need of auto care the whole process can be very intimidating, But they made my experience positive. Their integrity has won me over. If I’m ever in need of auto care, this will be my shop I call.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I called them and had some questions about my diesel Jetta and they said they couldn't help me but they called me back after a few minutes and gave me great recommendations on what I could do and affordable options. They said we'd love to take your business we're sorry we can't help you but we think this is going to be better for you. I will definitely be going back when I have some thing they can work on so nice to find an honest mechanic

Overpriced, to say the least. I was given one quote for a simple maintenance item then surprised with a much higher bill. They also overcharged my girlfriend for basic repairs, and I mean by 100s of $. Beware. People with questionable character may also perform shoddy repairs. Time will tell.

The best car service I have ever had! They are friendly, reliable, and VERY fast. I seriously cannot believe how beautifully my car is running now. I feel that their prices were very fair considering their speed and quality work. Best of all, Fante's coffee shop is right next door; it's the perfect waiting area! I will be returning for all my car servicing needs, no doubt.

Honest and fair pricing with good quality work. He stands by his work and has a huge knowledge on early and late model German/European vehicles. He has saved me a lot of money compared to the dealer. I have a 1988 Porsche 944 and Steve got me repaired and was able to diagnose my problem quickly! Not to mention I was able to get a ride home from him when I dropped off my vehicle and he picked me up when my car got repaired! I will return back for any future repairs! Thanks Steve!
