Terrible store and staff. F.Y.E had been going down hill since they were bought out a little over a year ago. The inventory is so limited and prices are well above retail, the staff change like I change my clothes (daily. A bit of an exaggeration but the turn over rate is crazy) I have literally been there and seen them clothes the shutters after they open or just walk off to the food court. Most recently the guy working wasn't dressed in any kind of uniform or anything to tell he was an employee, when I came he was B.Sing with some woman trying to spit game instead of working, and was trying to cover up the smell of weed to the point he had so much cologne on it was choking to try and walk through the store, the movies arent even alphabetized and since they don't buy anything anymore the selection is garbage. Its stores like this being mismanaged and poor staff, why the mall will be gone in less than 5 years. Save yourself the time and buy online somewhere else, it will be priced reasonably and you will actually get what your looking for.

I shared an experience similar to other recent reviewers. The cashier lied to me about the backstage pass subscription. On the touchpad was the legitimate information about the backstage pass and she said that this information was outdated and that there is no actual charge.
Not only was I signed up for the backstage pass, but I was also signed up for three different magazine subscriptions, which I had to cancel through a third party company that my card information had been passed along to.
My bad for being gullible, I guess, assuming she'd know. She clearly makes some kind of commission and this is not the only time she's done this. Absolutely scummy, this girl needs to be fired if she hasn't been already.

Fye is a Scam and not worth the shopping experience, they force their employees to lie to customers about the backstage pass And magazines and they tell the employees all the time if they do not lie to the customer and get so many backstage pass and magazines they will be fired. Why shop for a place that doesn’t treat their employees good they make up lies about store, managers, hiring families or store managers sleeping with other people or assistance not treating people right? But really, the district managers and the owner of the company does not care all they care about is money all Fye’s are a revolving door because they take away somebody’s morals and they take away somebody’s good faith and fire them for doing what they are told. And all Fye’s smell like smoke because of the employees smoking weed and vapes throughout the whole store and they don’t care about that as long as the employees lie and cheat the system

I saw another person say this as well. lady straight LIED about the free backstage pass. I asked her if this was going to charge me and she said no and made some joke that they only wanted blood. They charge you a ridiculous fee and sign you up for all kinds of things that are hard to cancel. Plus the place reeks of cigarettes.

Cashier lied to my wife about the " Free" backstage pass membership. Charged $12/ month. This was at Jefferson mall. The St Matthews location did the same thing to my daughter plus slamming several magazine subscriptions. This seems so common and widespread, why is there no class action suit yet? Also, the store is full of smokembecause the employees stand in the back door to smoke (illegal?) and the draft pulls it in. The merchandise smells like it was in a smoker's house.

Nostalgic as f**k, I love this store even tho it can be pricey. Still nice to get your hands on physical media. Staff is always helpful.

I like browsing in here for Manga. It isn't that big, so the selection isn't the best. The staff are really nice people. If you are looking for CDs, this is a great place to go to.
