I recently visited as part of a work group. My group of 10 was able to get in, choose a design and be walked through each step of the process with the fantastic glassblowers. It was an incredible experience.
All the staff at Flame Run were incredibly professional, nice, fun, and a credit to their profession. I would highly recommend giving them a visit. You will not be disappointed!

Flame Run provided an unforgettable glassmaking experience! From start to finish, our time there was nothing short of fantastic. The highlight was undoubtedly our guide, Steven, who was incredible in every way—knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. He expertly guided us through the glassmaking process, answering all of our questions with enthusiasm and sharing fascinating fun facts along the way. The hands-on experience was both engaging and educational, and we left with beautiful glass pieces and wonderful memories. Whether you’re a novice or have some experience with glassmaking, Flame Run is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Check in was easy, they gave us an array of glass options to choose from. The gallery had a lot of beautiful pieces to look at while we waited. The artist was very thorough in explaining each step as he made our bowl and ornament. Would definitely go again and if you're just looking to try something different.

This was truly one of my best experiences!
This was a very smooth process from start to finish, and reservations were made in advance.
I was able to select what I wanted made and up to 3 colors or less.
The gentlemen were very informative about the process and even let you interact depending on the piece that you select.
I was able to get my item the next day, and it is gorgeous! I selected to have a bowl made.
Would highly recommend having an item made.

As part of a work event I got to make my own bourbon glass. The event was packed and not the best organized on our companies side but they did everything they could plus some to fix our organizations mistakes. The glass blower we worked with was very knowledgeable and was very patient. The colors I selected did not work well together and he explained my options and provided suggestions . Really happy with finished product - this is an amazing operation and one of the highlights of my trip !

This is by far one of the coolest and most unique experiences you could probably do. Even if you know nothing about glass blowing it is very interesting to learn and see an expert up close. They also explain what they are doing and why, so it feels interactive. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcomed. It's worth the price they are asking and they have a cool art gallery as you are waiting for your turn or on your way out.

This experience was so much fun. We made 2 galaxy paperweights and 1 bourbon glass. Stephen made it super easy and talked us through each step. He did most of the work (all of it except picking colors and design on the bourbon glass), so you can’t mess it up. We are so excited to see our finished items once they cool down. I’d love to do this again on our next trip to Louisville.

Great time in watching him make our ornaments. Disappointed that we arranged a time to blow an ornament and then after paying found out that all we got to do was select the colors and watch. Anyone can watch for free and then buy an ornament. You used to be able to blow your own ornament. I was very disappointed had brought friends to blow their ornaments. Maybe that should be said on their website

Such a cool experience! The artist was great and explained everything he was doing so we felt very involved in the process! It was cool to be up close and personal to witness the artistic experience!
The gallery is also very interesting with a lot of unique pieces!
All in all, amazing experience! Glad we added this to our list for this trip to Louisville!

Staff was very helpful and kind. Great experience. Took my husband for his birthday while in Louisville on vacation and he loved making his own bourbon glass and I did one too. They turned out really cool and we couldn’t wait to have a drink out of them. Steven really encouraged our creativity and was a great way to start our day. Plus it was very warm in there compared to being outside! I had made a “reservation” in advance and was able to schedule the ideal day and time for us. Would definitely recommend!

Going to Flame run and getting to accomplish a life long dream of mine has been such a blessing. I've taken 2 classes here. The first time was around the holidays and the second was last week. I had an awesome experience both times! The first time I was able to make a glass galaxy globe. The second visit I was taught how to blow glass and I made an ornament as well as a bowl! I had an amazing time and plan to come back again!!

Got the glass blowing lesson! Never done any glass crafting before and it was so exciting to do this!!! The instructor, Adam was great at explaining and demonstrating while making sure I was keeping safe. Really appreciated how much he made sure I left with a really nice souvenir of the experience. I’m so delighted on how the cup turned out! Can’t wait to do this again sometime!!!!

I had a create your own stemless wine glass experience and they turned out just breathtaking. You are right on the floor of the hot shop, and can see every step of your creation, as well as ask lots of questions. This is definitely a one of a kind experience, and, if you know of someone who's hard to shop for, a gift certificate for this experience would be a fabulous choice.
