I am a man that is married to a white wo me and my fiancé that is White got into a car wreck and received large lump sum and settlement. We both deposited our check into two different accounts the same day same time. Her check cleared within two days. You guys put a 10 day hold on mines. Sounds a little Culturally bias.

Teller could have been more friendly. I work in public service as well. Days can be rough but you have to remember you are dealing with people. A simple hello how are you doesn't hurt.

As I wait 'for the next available agent' (35 minutes and still waiting!) I thought I would use my power as a consumer to rate this bank. Initially I was going to give this institution a one star rating because of the waiting period i had to endure to fix a problem they created! But after speaking to the supervisor I will upgrade that to three stars because I was able to fix the problem over the phone and the supervisor apologized for the wait stating that they are 'hiring 70 more agents to handle the phones'. If in the future the 'wait' situation is in fact corrected I will upgrade this business to 4-5 stars. But for now, it's three.

I was considering opening another bank account to compare the services (I've been with two specific banks for years). Thus, when my aunt told me about a promotion Fifth Third bank was having, I thought I'd give it a go. I had a goal in mind. Open up a checking account- no credit cards because I didn't want a hard inquiry on my credit report. Besides, the cards that are in my wallet do just fine. There weren't many customers in the bank when I walked in. There were only two bankers in their offices at the time, and each of them had a customer with them. There were also one or two customers waiting outside of their offices, so I would have to be after them. I waited quite a while before a third banker came in. Once he got settled, he asked for the next customer. I was next by that time. Our conversation was thorough as he went through his necessary schpeel for opening a new account. He offered what he thought the best solution would be for me based on my lifestyle/needs, and I appreciated that. I declined the credit card offer but opened a savings account along with the checking account. One of the perks of being a customer with Fifth Third, he said, was the personal experience. They treat you like a person instead of a number and even check-in to see how your banking experience is going. I told him I rarely go inside banks as I prefer online banking, although the personalized experience is a nice touch. Sure enough, he has checked in via phone a couple of times to see how my banking experience has been going or if I had any questions. One thing I don't like (although it's no fault of this location per se) is the online Fifth Third experience. It seems dated, and though that's no fault of anyone here, it does affect my banking experience as a whole.

I've used this location inside and out quite a few times with no complaints. One time, the ATM was out of order though. The staff inside has been friendly and efficient. The parking lot is a bit tricky and the entrance sneaks up on you while driving down Dixie. No major complaints though.
