Purchased an agriculture property and they were the only place I could find that would issue a farm loan with a decent rate. Just paid off the last of my balance and they have been a fantastic lender. This is the first place I will go if I buy ag property in the future and need another loan. Thanks Rural 1st!

I called them to check on an insurance payment for a mutual customer. A live person answered the phone. This alone was an amazing experience for calling a financial institution. Nice to not have to waste 5 minutes of my life trying to get to a person.

I do not bank here, but broke down on the side of the road next to the bank. The employees did everything they could to try to help me by looking at my car, letting me wait inside for a tow, and offering me refreshments. They were a great relief in my time of need.
