Went to this hotel for the Miami Hurricanes game against Louisville. Great experience, free shuttle to and from airport, clean room, exceptional location to restaurants and bars and Raeleigh at the front desk was great!
Even walked back from L&N stadium, only a 3.5 mile walk through nice back streets. Tons of CANES fans staying at the hotel and we came away with the big W!!!

Beautiful hotel. Large clean spacious room. Perfect location for walking to the KFC Yum center. Fun nightlife nearby. Only complaint was the valet parking. It took quite some time to even be able to get up to the hotel. Also, don't get a room on street side. NOISY!!

Convenient location, close walk or drive to Whiskey Row. Check in was easy. Beautiful lobby and hallways. Staff was attentive to my booking request for room location. Our suite was very spacious. There were a few noticeable issues with the tile such as unevenly layed tiles and chiping in our room. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious as well and I appreciated the amount and quality of towels but the water pressure in the shower was so low my shower was not enjoyable. I actually had to rise my hair in the sink. The breakfast was very good with the exception of the scrambled eggs which had a rubbery texture.

There is simply no finer place in downtown Louisville that has what this very special individual embassy suite has. First of all if you know the chain the atrium motif is something different here. The architects re-envisioned a 1920s department store into a one-of-a-kind complex with rooms that are individual throughout. The views are amazing The back stair wall, a vestige from the heavy trodden pedestrian days of retail segregation, is laid in white marble, fabulous! And if you know, and you can ask, there are only, and I mean there's only four rooms that have balconies. Because you can't smoke in the hotel but you can smoke on your balcony. Well and that back staircase with the marble but you didn't hear it from me
Rooms: Fucking fabulous that's what they are
Nearby activities: Get on some sort of ethical travel and go away from 4th Street please
Walkability: Yep
Food and drinks: It's Kentucky bourbon

We will not be staying here again until there are some major changes made with the valet service. Our car was checked into valet with the understanding it was parked in the parking garage on property. We had stayed here two weeks prior and heard about a series of break ins that was happening in town. Valet service assured us the area where the cars was parked had extra security due to the increase in criminal activity. At 6am this morning we were woke up to a phone call that our car along with 13 other cars had been broken in to. Our car was not parked in the garage. It was parked two blocks down in a parking lot with no cameras or security. They had just had the valet staff sitting in the parking lot. Scott, the manager of the valet company told us that the break ins happened around 3am. We were notified 3 hours later. The hotel staff on duty was not notified until 6am as well. We had to make our own police report and was told they will not be paying for any damages. They clearly do not care about their customers or maintaining any level of integrity. We are paying for a service and should expect our vehicle to be returned in the same condition it was given to them. Transparency should be important in these cases and any guest should be made aware of the increased activity and increased risk they are taking with using the valet service. If you look back at the reviews you will notice several incidents similar and since the very first incident no real security or extra protocol has been taken to protect the guest property. They continue to charge $40 a day for this service, and no transparency of the risk guests are taking. We deserved to be able to make an informed decision. The valet service and Embassy should be obligated to fix the damages that occur while guest property is in there care.

Other than being harassed by dirty, disease carrying bums outside it was great!
Be sure to supply yourself with plenty of bum chaff (coins) if walking around outside of this hotel!

Great location and right in the heart of Downtown Louisville. A little issue with houselessness at the corner of the street.
Rooms: Some rooms have a great view. Ours didn’t.
Nearby activities: 4th Street Live. Outdoor entertainment and food right across the street. Can get pretty noisy on the weekends.
Walkability: Located downtown Louisville, near several things to do.
Food and drinks: Brendon’s Catch 22. Can’t remember if it’s 21, 22 or 23. ?

My family had our family reunion here this weekend. It was perfect and in many ways felt luxe. Overall the interior is chic and a delight. The made-to-order breakfast and happy hour with complimentary drinks in the orchid bar offered us a reliable place to gather and commune. The rooms are spacious with ceilings that soar upwards. Green Light!

I booked a room for two nights and when I arrived at 4:30pm they said the room wasn’t ready. They said it would be another half hour to hour before the room was ready. They did not have any parking on their property and we needed to use a city garage. They also did not have available space to unload your luggage. I attempted to speak with a manager but they did not have a manager working.
