The owner of this company name is Darrin Meade. I used google to find a packing and moving company. They were one of the ones that came up. Mr. Meade assured me they were professional with many happy customers and years of experience. I am very sick. I am chronically ill. My mother just got out of the hospital so we turned to Elite to use their services. They were suppose to arrive on 2/17/21 between 10-11 to pack and then return on 2/18/22 between 10-11 to load the pod. M. Meade reached out to me after he was already suppose to be at my apartment to tell me his current customer was paying for additional 3-5 hours and he would arrive around 4pm instead or could come in the morning at 9 and do the packing and loading in one day. I selected the option for him to still come that day even though I was pretty weak. Mr Meade and his company never arrived. And did not communicate with me until almost 11pm after my mother reach out as well and I asked for a refund. He was pretty unprofessional and claimed he had been waiting for me to respond but realized he never hit send in his message. He promised to be there in the morning but no called no show. Wouldn’t answer the phone, wouldn’t return text messages. I finally submitted a request through cash app for a refund of my $275 deposit. He declined the request but never responded to me. I had sent him a couple of additional text asking him to please do the right thing and refund my money. Darrin was made aware of my poor health. He is also aware of my mental challenges. He took full advantage and stole from me. Upon further research I learned this has been done to many people. Multiple Google reviews state exactly what has happened to me. I was advised to file a police report. I did so today and am pleased with just how serious they took. I was worried because of then amount they may not but they have. I am so sadden but this. I sadly have brain damage so I do not remember Mr. Meade but I apparently went to school with him. Though I can’t remember him, there was a level of comfort there knowing that. After sitting up for 2 days waiting for Darrin, my body has gone into a horrible flare up. All the stress this has caused has become physical for my body. I praying this doesn’t land me in the hospital. To be honest I am very nervous to post this review. I am worried about Retaliation. But I cannot let this happen to anybody else. I wish I would’ve seen the reviews of the people who are brave enough to post their experiences before this happened to me. I would have never gone with his company. He will eventually be forced to give my money back by law along with any money I’m out of because of what this has calls. But I wish he would’ve just done the right thing instead of putting me through all of this. It’s bad enough to not show but then to essentially steal from me. most companies would at least make an excuse for why they are delaying the refund. He has said nothing but has clearly read my messages. Please please look elsewhere for your needs.

RUN!!!! DO NOT USE!!! My best friend had a reservation with elite moving in the late afternoon to pack and the next morning to load her apartment into a pod for shipping. both her and her mother had to move, so in order to book both of them they required a $275 deposit. I was asked to be there when they packed and loaded everything as she is a single female living by herself with four men coming to her apartment. The day of the pack they messaged and said that they were with another customer who had requested more time because they would not have gotten finished. They asked what would be better to come over later or just wait till the next day and never acknowledged her messages to come over later that day. Then never showed up that day or the next. Upon request for a refund bc they never showed , they have since stopped responding at all. The claimed to be very professional and a long standing business..... Very unprofessional!

Don’t even think about it! Darrin is a thief! I paid Darrin $60 for a quote which was supposed to be credited when I used them. I paid a $275 deposit and booked a date 3 weeks in advanced. He could not show up on that date and didn’t let me know until 4pm the day of the move. He promised he would be there the next day, and again backed out. He promised he could be there AGAIN and still did not show up. We had to book someone last minute on a holiday, paid more than twice as much as his quote. I had to pay four extra days rent on my apartment, and he said he would pay me if I showed him that they charged me extra. FOUR MONTHS LATER, and he has not paid me my $60, he has not paid me my $275 deposit, he has not paid me the extra rent I had to pay, and quit returning texts and calls a month after he told me a check would be in the mail. I would never book a company that has stolen money from a previous customer. I hope you won’t either!

This guy was so unprofessional and didn’t even have a moving truck, was very unprofessional and late. Worst experience ever with moving, will never use them again

These guys are awesome.These guys specialize in moving big bulky things... Like safes, hot tubs, pianos and such.These guys came in and moved a 500 lb safe and made it look like child's play. Very professional courteous and saved me from hurting myself :-)

I am not impressed. I was referred to this company from a friend who said they did an excellent job. I contacted Darrin on 5-June-19 for a move that was supposed to happen on 30-June-19. He gave me a quote which seemed slightly better than average and asked for $100 deposit to hold the truck. On 10-June-19 I drove to Waddy, KY to give him the $100 deposit and I got a receipt for it. The landlord I was supposed to be renting from in the new place called me on the afternoon of Friday, 14-June-19 and said he could no longer rent the apartment due to a family crisis. So as soon as I found out, I called Darrin at Elite and left a voicemail for him to call me because I had a change and needed to cancel and wanted my $100 deposit returned. Right after I sent the voicemail, I also sent him a text message to that effect. I waited over the weekend because he had said he is extremely busy. Still no word from him on Monday 17-June-19, so I called and left a voicemail and followed up with a text again. I have done this every day since (except Sundays). From Friday, 21-June-19, the voicemail was full, so I was unable to leave voicemails, so I left only text messages daily. Today is the date of the cancelled move, 30-June-19 and Elite Moving did NOT show up between 09.00 - 10.00 which was on the contract, and I have still not heard from Darrin, nor have I received my $100 deposit back. I will be contacting both the Louisville, KY Better Business Bureau as well as the State Attorney General and filing a report about this since Elite Moving is clearly not going to respond to me, nor has any intention on returning my $100 truck deposit. Again, NOT impressed.

I don't know where to start with this review. I feel abused, taken advantage of, and just plan harassed. Darren is a bully that's as plan as I can put it. Yes I am a single woman and I do feel this move would have went smoother if a man had been present, but I am not sure about that. My experience with this company and with Darren go like this. 5 hours late. Rude, could not move something out of the basement so instead of just explaining his position he call me a lair, and said I did not move it down there. well that is just stupid because it was in the basement. refused to do what it took to complete the move, and even left something in the driveway. And to top it off he called me stupid 4 times! Who does that? But the cherry on the top was the extra 110.00 dollars he charged because he started my time when he left the job before mine, and it was an hour away. Wow I get to pay for his dive time not my moving time what a great deal right?!?!

This company is very mean with its customers. Our company trying to match the request from Elite moving by paying them a deposit for the future service. We paid the company a deposit, and an over-payment in July, and requesting for a refund as the service this company provided in August was not fulfilling the money we paid. The first response we get from Elite moving was very rude. And then, I was trying to connect with the company through Email, Phone, but receive no response. Right now, Elite moving owe us a lot of money and keep ignoring the emails from us.My advise is, try to stay away from Elite moving as far as possible. Is there anyone on Yelp know if this company is still in business or has already running out of the business?

Darrin and his crew moved me in March, 2018. They were very professional, efficient and polite. They paid very close attention to carefulness with the furniture. Price was reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

These guys were great. I had them move my entire house. They worked all day and moved several loads. It went so smooth and they were so polite. If you need something moved and you want honest trustworthy people. These are the ones you want!

I hired Elite to relocate a hot tub I purchased. On the day of the move, Darrin, the owner tried to DOUBLE THE COST!! DOUBLE! He claimed that I misled him on the task and that he needed his hot tub dolly instead of the gear he had. DUH DARRIN! You're moving a hot tub and didn't bring your hot tub mover. That is ELITE STUPIDITY! To make it even worse, the tone and tenor of his conversation changed from courteous to contempt and crotchety in an instant. Very very VERY disappointed. I gave 1 STAR because minus-10 stars was not an option. My name is BRUCE BURNS and I approve this message! I see Darrin is up bright and early today. A little more detail for those interested. I find it odd that Mr Elite NEVER drove the 5 miles from the office to investigate and PLAN for the logistics. When I buy a plane ticket I don't expect the crew to depend on me for the navigation to our destination. I tried to communicate days in advance. I was prepared to have someone call and discuss in further details. The customer hired the company expecting to be led. I called another company after this SNAFU and guess what happened... THE MAN CAME TO MY HOME and then guess what else... he went to the other home too! WOW.., that's what I call ELITE and EXPECTED and pretty damned EZ! Finally... in closing, the newly hired moving company that came out, viewed , evaluated and WILL MOVE THE TUB, is charging me less than $100 more than what ELITE tried to pull by saying it would be another $450ish!! I am more than happy to pay the extra charge to get the job done. My advice to ELITE is when faced with an obstacle or issue WATCH YOUR DAMNED TONE!
