Dot Fox is located a couple of streets over from my house. My fiancé and I stumbled across it one day while we were out walking. I’m an avid coffee drinker and was looking for something new to try. The sign out front caught our attention first, beautifully highlighting all that Dot Fox has to offer. It’s a one of a kind establishment filled with unique clothing pieces, extremely tasty beverages, eye catching jewelry, noteworthy literature, and many spiritual treasures as well. The staff is always engaging, friendly, and helpful. We frequent Dot Fox, making it a point to visit weekly to grab a Iced Chai (they even make the chai themselves and it’s delicious) or an Iced Carmella. The owner Sally is truly a delight, creating magic in every interaction. Visiting her store is something I highly recommend to locals and tourists alike. It’s a store that captures the beauty and weirdness that is Louisville Culture. It’s a safe place for all to feel and be celebrated and has something for everyone (even those with four legs)……..(Pic: Our baby girl Shadow loves going to see her friends at Dot Fox.)

Such a cute store!! Felt welcomed like I was an old friend. Chatted with the employees fora bit while I shopped and they have so much enthusiasm. Will be back:)

Eclectic boutique with a true Highland hippy / boho vibe with a dash of high-end and fashion forward garments thrown in the mix. Jewelry, unique gifts and homewares are abundant too. Staff is friendly and they have a little café'. I feel a little bad because I was prompted to write a review because I felt customer's need to be aware they have a very strict 14 day return policy. Keep this in mind when Christmas or special event shopping - I was advised when they refused my Christmas gift return the week of New Year's, that in the future I should make sure that my purchases are made with-in 14 days prior to Christmas. Nearly every merchant in our area has an extended holiday return date and this store doesn't actually give you your money back, all returns are store credit, so they have your money regardless. The item I purchased was a unique item my granddaughter saw during Bardstown Road Aglow and it was the last one, I was shocked that it was still at the store when I stopped in, and felt if I waited it would likely not have been available if left thru the weekend. Unfortunately, she loved the skirt, but it didn't fit, bummer, no one else is even close to her size so I can't even re-gift it. Also make sure you allow yourself a buffer, due to illness, we had to push our Christmas celebration till the following week, which added a whole week to the anticipated return date.

The staff is always very friendly and the clothes are very hip, even if they are sometimes a little over priced. I love the atmosphere and the dressing rooms. I've never had a bad time there or a purchase I regretted. I always recommend to my out of town friends.

Dot Fox is my favorite place in all of Louisville. There is literally something for everyone there, whether it’s an awesome locally printed t shirt, a cup of delicious coffee, a cute knick knack or a good book. The staff is always very helpful but in a chill way where they don’t pressure you to buy anything. You could spend an hour there and still not see everything. It’s like a small museum where everything is for sale. The energy in there is pure magic. There’s always good music playing on the stereo. Dot Fox is a little slice of heaven and a staple to this city. If you’re visiting from out of town, I highly recommend you visit this amazing shop.

The clothing was EXPENSIVE and lacking in plus size options. They did also offer a lot of gifts, jewelry, and witchy items. There's also a small cafe setup in the store if you want to grab a drink or pastry while you're there.

Staff is very helpful, I asked the girl working what a singing bowl was used for and what it does because I had no idea at the time, she explained to me and even took the time to show me how to use it. I bought a pretty small one and have been looking around at some bigger pieces that are more expensive and none of them have had such a clear nice sound like this one does. 10/10 recommend going here. High quality products and friendly staff.
