Literally one employee working in the store when I went. He had the doors locked while there were people inside to prevent a rush of people coming in while he was dealing with customers, people needed to wait outside for him to open the doors. If there's only one person working in a whole store by himself and you need to lock the doors to prevent overwhelming numbers of people coming in you shouldn't be open at all.

The past few times I’ve tried to visit they are either closed during business hours or someone is inside, non responsive and the doors are locked.

Came to shop at 9:30 am on Friday 5/10/2024. 3 associates were leaving and posted a hand written note saying they would be back in 2 hours. They just opened at 9. I bet they didn't even clock out. I would have given 0 stars if it was possible. This was at the bardstown rd store in louisville ky. I think if you own this store I would find out why your employees are closing after 1/2 hour of being open.

I visited the store today and it was very busy. There was a baby crying uncontrollably.There was only one lane open which was almost to the back of the store. The manager did not help. Just walked around the store. A customer standing in line, called the store number and said someone picked up and immediately hung up the phone. Finally another cashier opened her lane up. Upon approaching the register we noticed the crying baby we heard earlier was sitting in her car seat which was in a chair. The cashier was just opening the lane because she had to tend to her baby first. The store was just chaos and the manager did nothing to help. I felt bead for the cashiers, especially the one who was working while the other was consoling her baby. The manger should have helped out. I also understand them being short staffed but having a baby there that young is unprofessional and unsafe.

Tara was fantastic. The store was quite busy on a Saturday evening but she made everything was being taken care of quickly and pleasantly. Even though the merchandise was messy, her kind demeanor was very refreshing and made up for it. I hope she gets recognized by the store for her kindness.

This store had a needed item that the other Dollar Trees did not stock. The staff was courteous as well.

One of the worst in the city!! Manager Never and I mean NEVER helps the cashiers!!! Sunshine is always backed up to the back of the store and so it the other lady (can't remember her name) but no one cares! Customers always call out Manager for her negligence in helping her employees but it does absolutely nothing!

Great place to buy inexpensive decor and cleaning products. Also a bargain for birthday and holiday cards.

I can always find a nice card and gift bag. Way Cheaper than anywhere else. Plus with my arthritic hands it is much easier than wrapping paper.
