Management is rude! I watched some bigger white lady say some rude comments to an older customer. That’s never okay, I’m a manger as well and as soon as I heard that it put me off. It’s never okay to talk to your customers like that.

Don’t usually leave bad reviews but holy moly, I’ve been to this dollar store maybe five times in the past, and every single time it takes so long to get checked out, even if there is only a couple of people in line. Overheard a couple of customers behind me complaining about the same thing.

I deliver their fright and either Thier freight manager or the morning main manager lies thru their teeth. So I show up on time. Actually early. Then they proceed to start to unload me. 2 men and 2 females one is the (manager). It's going ok. Mind you the one female is the closing employee for the night coming in to help unload. The one helping was great she kept the freight moving. Then they started arguing with each other and it goes down hill from there. They started slowing down. Then the manager leaves for a few hours so she can go to court. Now there is just 3 of them . Then the 2 that were arguing start arguing even worse cause the one guy is not really doing anything and it's just the 2 of them out of the 3 getting this done. She finally got fed up and left. Then it is going even slower now. Mind you my whole roller belt is filled the whole entire time I was. There. Right at the end the actual manager shows back up and helps the last 15 mins. The. They proceed to tell me I told my manager they were being slow. Which I didn't I was just trying to get done and get to my last store. Then she start telling me and the other guy I was late getting there and I was disappearing constantly. A blatant lie. I have a tablet and gps that logs my arrival and departure. Also the one girl that was there helping say to the one slow guy that you guys are going to blame this driver for being slow . So I'm assuming they blame the driver every week for their long unload times . My manager is looking to their past unload times and will be reporting to their district manager cause I'm 100 percent sure this is a weekly thing. They are blatantly lying about us drivers that are doing good jobs because of their incompetence. Their back room is so messy and unsafe. The fire marshal would shut them down. I did nothing wrong and they were the ones who took forever. 1600 prices should only take 3 and half hours to unload with 3 people. 500 pieces a hour. This is going to stop. blaming these drivers for what their manager and employees are doing. For the drivers that deliver to dollar tree is you get this location. Refuse to do it because this manager will try to get you in trouble. They do this every week. 1600 pieces shouldn't not take 6 hours. Note the store before this had 200 less price and did it in 3 hours 15 minutes. This district manager need to hire new management and check into their unload time. I will never deliver to this store again. I am one of the fast unloaders on this account. You will not blame innocent drivers for your failures.

When I was checking out here I saw a cashier, a younger blonde lady speaking abruptly and very disrespectfully to an elderly female employee. I was shocked and sad, especially when I found out a a few moments later that this cashier is the assistant manager. The elderly female was checking out my mother a few minutes later who was behind me in line. She was crying and saying that the assistant manager verbally abused her almost constantly but she didn’t know what to do about it. I hope someone will look into this. Lord, have mercy. I will not shop here again.

It's horrible to see how
a manager speaks
bad to her employees, she is a very disgusting woman, she is not friendly and treats the employees very badly, I politely asked her for help and she yelled at me and told me that she couldn't help me to go to another store.

Was just in this store to purchase supplies for my students. The manager of the store and another emplyee were talking about Tik Tok and who is going to work today and just generally having a social conversation. The manager was playing with the balloons. There was only one register open but four employees. The man behind me in line said "hey it's really busy. Could you please open another register". The man behind the counter responded with "If you want to open another lane you can fill out a job application and open on yourself. Then the woman who was ostensibly the manager began laughing at the customers "Haha he said if you want an open lane fill out a job application!" and "If it were that easy we would just do it" as she proceeds to continue playing with balloons and talkign about tik tok. Then she causually said to one of the employees after the line got to be about 12 people long. "Hey can you open a register so they will stop complaining.". I have never experienced such rude customer service in my entire life.

I am horrified by the treatment of staff while I was in the store. Even though I was late to come back from my break because I had to wait so long, I do not blame the cashier. She was a nice elderly woman, who was doing a good job despite the lack of backup. She was the only cashier and had a line down the aisle. She called for backup, and a woman came out and rudely asked her “what she wanted?” When she asked for cashier back up the woman told her “that’s it? You’re fine. We are in a meeting” and walked away. I was informed this woman was the assistant manager. Put the lack of customer service on the back burner, because obviously that was not something she cared about either , but the foul treatment of employees? Honestly it was disgusting. Is this what dollar tree believes is the way to treat employees. ( None less an elderly employee!!!!) I very rarely get into the business of employee relationships at somewhere I don’t work but wow. That assistant manager needs to be disciplined at the very least, or fired at this point. ( Her name starts with a J.) Because apparently she has a history of treating her employees badly. Dollar tree HR or corporate DO SOMETHING about this. This was heartbreaking to watch an assistant manager go out of her way to embarrass her employee just because she could or doesn’t like her. Shame on her. If you want to do better for the customers then start by doing better for your employees. I hope that cashier has a good day and gets a raise!

I arrived at 8:54pm on 12/16/23 and the door was already locked with customers still inside. I called the store to inquire why and was told store was already closed (at 8:55pm) and literally had to beg someone to let me in when they came to the door and someone told me "hurry up, we're ready to go home" and I thought that was very uncool so I purchased the item I came in to buy and still left the store before it was time close.

Not a gd place to shop if u in a hurry...usually only have one cashier...n she is very slow not to mention be trying to eat while checking u out..not professional at all
