Got here before 7:30 and they already had the doors locked. Sign says they close at 8. Customer and employee still inside but employee said “we’re closed” and wouldn’t open the doors.

This store has come a long way, looks like a completely different store. The selves are well organized and neat. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It was supposed to be open until 8 but was closed when I went by at 7:20. The people that work there are very good about watching people's bags so they earn the stars

When to buy some groceries I'm truck driver and they treat me like trash is not baskets and put my groceries in a bag when to pay and they got upset whit me .how I supposed to carrier my groceries when they dont have basket or shopping carts.

Horrible ! Employees standing around ! Boxes, trash out front, side, back !?!? Large boxes inside the store for customers to slip over. Merchainever on shelves neatly ?! HORRIBLE !!!!

I would give 5 star because workers are very nice and almost always have what I want. But it's a hit or miss when they open. Don't know til you get there

Cart with long pole attached pull box from top hit me in the head. Told 3 people who seem not to be concerned meaning no ask if I was okay...simple said this cart ? shouldn't have been on the floor. Which no one removed from floor it was business as usual every one went on laughing and talking. I've never witnessed such behavior and disrespect show to a customer. No incident report taken no one asked my name really is this how things are done. I'll have to see what my next step should be with this matter.

I was kind of surprised to see the bad reviews but they are older so maybe things have improved since then. I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and think the store has a pretty good selection of things. There are a few items that do never seem to be in stock -- however you must consider this is one of the only stores in walking distance for many so it makes sense it would be a heavily shopped store. I have been to other DGs in the metro and I can assure you this one is better than A LOT. Always room for improvement but I'm thankful for what they offer & glad they are in the neighborhood

This is the worst store I have ever been in with the worst employees I have ever encountered. They falsely advertise that they participate in the order online and pick up at store program that Dollar general offers, which was not only confirmed through the online app, but there's also a banner hung on the building itself that says "Order online and pick up at the store", which suggests this location participates. The employees were very rude when I arrived to pick up my order that I placed and paid for online the day before. A man, portraying himself as a very unfit manager, was rude and extremely unhelpful. Not only did they not fulfill my online order, when asked how this would be rectified, since my credit card had been charged already, the unfit manager said I don't know maybe call somebody, which was followed by a story of how he had the same experience at walmart. I decided to ahead and get a couple of the items I really needed and was on sale. The staff was not at all helpful at finding anything when asked. The store was in such disarray, shelves were scarce, the isles were an accident waiting to happen, either blocked completely or had product on the floor. During checkout I entered my telephone number so my digital coupons would be applied to my purchase and when the total amount due did not add up correctly, both the acting manager and the cashier insisted the coupons had been applied/deducted, even after I verbally added up the 5 items at full price. I showed the receipt to the man acting as a manager, his response when I asked for a credit was, "I'm not going to open the cash register to give you any money back, it's not my fault the coupons didn't work". At the very least he could have refunded, re-rung the purchase and applied the coupons. Which he adamantly refused to do. I would not recommend to my worst enemy to shop at this location. It doesn't take much to offer the customer service that you are there (and paid) to provide. I would suggest to the regional or district manager to register the employees for either online or in person customer service skill training course, or replace them. Also, the only reason I gave them one star is because you can't leave a review without giving it something.

The staff are fine. However the parking lot is a health hazard! It's disgusting how someone can discard used syringes in a place that numerous people, kids & animals walk through daily. If someone becomes a felon for selling dope, why shouldn't people endangering lives in another way?!
