I’ve been forced to use Discernity for the past 6 months because my apartment complex switched over to them and made their services a mandatory part of the utility bill. In order to get the same service I had with Altafiber, I have to pay about $15 more each month, which really adds up. Additionally, the product itself is just not consistent, and I constantly have devices disconnecting. I’ve had an ongoing issue over the last two or three months where I’ve had to call in and have them restart my internet, because for some reason their pre-installed router doesn’t allow me to do that on my end. The only saving grace is that the customer service team is quick to respond, very nice and understanding, and always helps me resolve this issue quickly. I respect their commitment and pity their impossible task of supporting a clearly faulty system. As someone who has to work from home, I am endlessly angry that my apartment complex signed a deal with this company and cannot wait to move.

Internet service is solid with very few interruptions and good speed. I work from home some days and I can count on my service.

I have lived in the building for 5 years, and have always had reliable wifi from Discernity. They have always been quick to respond with any weather related outages, and have provided great service at such an affordable rate.

Discernity’s service was always great. I used their service for 5 years, and even though there were some problems caused due to infrastructure initially, they were able to resolve it after investigating. They were always available and provided great explanation and customer service. They also followed up every time to ensure the issue has been resolved. I would highly recommend them.

Easy to set up service. Customer service phone line is available 24/7.I do wish they would let people use their own equipment, like other ISP companies. Instead, they charge a $7 equipment fee. If you want to use a hardwired connection, then you have to pay another $14 fee.

Used Discernity through my apartment for two years and it was seamless! Good price, good coverage, and easy to get in communication with the help desk if needed. If I had to use them again, I would be fine with it!

Discernity was one of the best internet companies that I ever had to deal with. Their customer service and attention to detail were second to none. Questions were answered immediately and you could count on getting things done quickly. I moved out of state--I really wish that they were here!!

We use Discernity in our condo building, and it’s reliable and fast, and on the rare occasion when something goes wrong, it’s fixed quickly. That’s all you can ask for from a service provider, right?

Forced to use with apartment complex. Internet was adequate, typically only had difficulties when there was severe weather. Customer support was easy to reach and easy to work with
