“Loved the guy playing the piano. I sat down for a while and he even played somewhere over the rainbow for me. It's amazing how people just walked on by and paid no attention or focused in their phones and didn't even hear the music. It was an enjoyable plus to have a personal concert. Thank you to the man and to Von Maur for adding the piano in the store.”

“I accidentally left my phone in the bathroom (my bad, never making that mistake again ??♀️) and someone wound up taking it! A manager or possibly loss prevention im not sure, was able to help us figure out who had my phone, and they eventually wound up turning it in (thank you?? ? ? ?) to the cashier (who was a great help aswell!!). I know how it can be working customer service/retail. The way that the khols employees at the Staniford Plaza location (Store 0513) will go above and behind to help when they can means a lot! “Being from Michigan, Meijer has stood out for me as my favorite retailers for, literally, decades. On a recent visit we drove out of our way to go to this location because there was something at this location that none of the other Meijer locations in the area carry. No worry, I LOVE Meijer.
Conveniently located off of the Gene Snyder, this location is very easy to see from the expressway and to get to once you get off the expressway.
One of the things I really like about Meijer is that, for the most part, everything is in roughly the same location in every store. Yea, the store layout may be reversed (grocery on the right instead of on the left), but your mind easily adapts to that.
The staff we encountered were helpful, and even walked us to find a specific item. The store was clean and well stocked and organized. I do love the amount of items they carry that are Michigan-based, and their Frederik's line of foodery is every bit as good as the national brands.
While I'm still not a fan of the self checkout (I LIKE to talk to cashiers), these are laid out and handled well, unlike a competitive retailer whose primary color is blue and doesn't care about its customers.
Keeping shopping carts stocked inside seems to have become a burden for just about every retail/grocery store in the world. So much so that I have taken to grabbing one in the parking lot on the way in.
Given a choice, I'll always take Meijer first first. It's been that way for over 40 years.”

“I absolutely love shopping at Meijer’s by there’s ONE thing that I wish you would consider changing about your store? I wish you would put in a dressing room so we could try on our outfits to make sure we want them before we purchase them.
I live a little farther away from your store and it’s hard for me to return my purchases because once I get them home they don’t fit as well as I would have liked.
I realize that adding a dressing room would mean adding more employees but I believe it would also increase your sales. I have answered my share of questions from other shoppers who meet up with in the store and they ask me while they’re hands have clothes in them, “ Do you know where the dressing room is? “ and unfortunately I have to tell them that you don’t have one and I explain that I take my clothes home if I really want them and return them if they don’t fit or I change my mind once I get back home, this particular lady with all the clothes in her hands dropped the clothes in her cart and told me that she was from other state and walked away!
Anyway, a dressing room would be a HUGE investment for your store, Please consider it, my husband would buy more clothes from you if he could try the clothes on right away at the store!
That’s my only concern with the store otherwise I Love you store.

They are fairly decently priced, they have a lot of sustainable options in all the departments, and you could get lost in there for hours! At least, that's been my experience”

“Karen was a most exceptional and helpful cashier. Helped me locate items I was looking for. Also had an excellent attitude, personality, and sense of humor. Store had electronic accessories I needed, and staff helped to advise me. Store has upgraded a lot. However, prices have increased along we with those upgrades.”

“Meijr is a wonderful place to shop. Food is always fresh. The great thing about that food store is that they carry great things for your home including shoes clothes as well. Pet items and food as well. Also has sports things like bicycles and more. Has a great pharmacy as well.”
“This is a smaller store, but I like it. Workers are friendly and I do find why I need. Of course, by this being a smaller store I will not find everything I might want especially furniture. In that case I can visit a larger store or shop online.
I hope Big Lots never closes this store. Maybe one of the businesses next door will leave and they can expand ?.

BIG LOTS NEAR ME IS CLOSING DUE TO THEFT.??♂️ I am so disappointed. As we have seen and heard theft is up across our country and businesses are closing. Closing stores cause a variety of problems for communities. Sorry to see you leave, Big Lots. There are other Big Lots stores not too far from me.
