Going into the shop, I didn't quite know what type of bicycle I was looking for. I was split between wanting a road or gravel bike. With their expertise, I decided on a gravel bike. I had my first ride on the gravel bike and LOVED it! Great place to look for a bicycle.

BUYER BEWARE INCOMPETENCE ABOUNDS AT CYCLESMITH.I purchased a top-of-the-line Specialized automatic transmission cruiser e-bike, helmet, and bike rack recommended by the store owner at CycleSmith. I immediately had problems with the bike. The owner test-road the bike and indicated that everything was operating correctly. My research found otherwise! The auto transmission was not shifting properly. Once I identified and informed the mechanic of the problem, adjustments were made to correct the problem. The recommended bike rack was not rated for the weights of an e-bikes and had to be returned. The recommended helmet was a bulkier mountain bike helmet with limited ventilation unlike a ventilated cruiser helmet. Upon returning the bike rack and helmet, the owner took back the bike rack without the original box but denied a return on the unused helmet because I left the original box with the shop not knowing that it was required for a return.After 5 trips to this store and massive incompetence on behalf of the owner, I got a little heated when he refused to take back the helmet without a box at the same time, he was taking back a bike rack without a box. The owner had the gall to tell me I was being disrespectful, and this was his store. The owner showed little to no remorse for his incompetency or the frustration he bestowed onto a customer. He showed total disrespect and lacked the customer service skills needed to work with the public.Due to the incompetence of the owner, I do not recommend buying anything from this store. I wonder how many automatic transmission bikes he has sold with transmissions that do not work?

Excellent service. I took a fall and needed a new derailleur. They fixed it quickly at a very reasonable cost. Very friendly too.

I had been watching the internet for 6 months for a very specific bike, and it was never available anywhere, then all of a sudden one popped up at CycleSmith's. I contacted Rick and we worked out a deal to have the bike shipped to me. Rick was very patient working through credit card issues (CC company kept flagging as a fraud charge). Bicycle arrived well packed and was exactly what I was looking for.

Where to start, these gents earn 6 stars if I could give it.I could very well have been a nightmare of a customer, asking for the impossible, but Rick and JC made things happen!I was able to get set up with a bike I’ve been HUNTING for in the exact spec no one else could get their hands on. Within a phone call and 15 minutes later Rick was calling me back ready to go ahead and finish setting up my order, even asking me details so he could get it tuned as soon as he got it in before pickup!Now if that’s not grade A service, I’m not sure where you’re going to find it. Hats off to Rick and JC! If you’re reading this and haven’t called them you’re one step behind!Seriously thanks again guys! You’ve got a customer out of me for life.

I purchased 2 specialized como 5.0's from CycleSmith's. JC and Rick were extremely helpful in the selection process and the level of service exceeded my expectations. JC assembled the bikes, explained processes in great detail and even helped tie down the bikes in my trailer. I would highly recommend CycleSmith's as the go to bike shop for service and selection

Great shopping experience. Rick took the time to explain the bike without pressure to buy. We were able to test ride and customize to our liking. Great value for our trade-in as well. You can't go wrong with this business.

I do not recommend doing business with cyclesmith’s. They have a nice shop and great selection of inventory but do not expect this to be a local bike shop that supports and works with its customers. In my experience there are better options that value building relationships, taking good care of customers, and will work with you.

While this store has very personable staff, I have found that they have higher prices than the Specialized site by a bit and higher than online sites by a lot. You should know what parts actually cost and let them know before you buy, or get their recommendation for what you need, buy it yourself and have them install it.
