Tena was incredibly helpful! When a product I had purchased needed additional assistance to use, she not only helped me, but when the product didn't meet my needs as expected, she helped me find a product that did work and return the first item in a simple and timely manner. Absolutely fantastic customer care and service!

Cruelty and inhumanity at its worst — shame on this CVS.
I came straight from the Emergency Room, crying from intense ear pain, holding a prescription that would take less than two minutes to fill. I arrived at 8:01 PM, just one minute after closing, while staff were still assisting another customer.
Despite seeing me clearly in distress, the supervisor coldly refused to help. Even after I begged her — through tears — to please give me my ear drops, she heartlessly said she had worked 12 hours and to come back at 10 AM the next day. Her lack of empathy was beyond shocking.
This pharmacy showed zero humanity, zero compassion, and zero understanding of what it means to care for the sick. It’s outrageous that a place meant to help people in pain turns them away so cruelly.
I will never step foot in this CVS again, and I hope anyone reading this thinks twice before trusting a location that lacks even the most basic human decency.
God sees it all — and justice comes, one way or another.

If you’re looking for a masterclass in incompetence and bad customer service, this pharmacy is the place to be.
Special mention to one person—whose complete indifference to customers, delivered with impressive audacity, really sets the tone.
In the 30 minutes I waited, I managed to switch pharmacies, call customer service, and even write this review.

Sean is incredible. You are lucky if he waits on you. The other staff is nice too.

Generally, I’ve had a bad experience with CVS pharmacy in several states. However, Lily has come to my rescue several times when I have had issues filling prescriptions. I had insurance issues and if she hadn’t helped me, I would have ended up in the hospital from side effects of missing my medication. I am giving this location a four star review because of her and the gentleman with the shaved head (Denny, I believe?). He is extremely helpful as well. CVS pharmacy is disorganized in general, but I do not feel any of the staff is at fault. They’re doing everything they can to provide good service to their patients.

They refuse to take new patients because it’s inconvenient for them. When I told the pharmacist that suddenly stopping my medication causes suicidal thoughts, she laughed at me.

My husband & I have been with CVS 2222 Bardstown Road for a total of 15 years. I first want to say that Lilly is wonderful, kind & professional. The other Pharmacy Techs are good.
However Ms. Pryor, Pharmacy Manager is unprofessional, judgmental of my pain medication regimen.
My husband & I have same nurse practitioners. His gets his meds the same day he requests them. Me on the other hand never get them sometimes. Ms. Pryor’s exuse is that she did not receive the prescription. Then I contact my NP & she says it was sent. And they send it again. This has happened multiple times.causing me to run out of 2 prescriptions which can’t be stopped.
The worst experience was my pain medication. It was due June 6 & I made 3 trips to CVS. I was told they did not receive the prescription. Then I was told it did not include diagnoses. Then the diagnoses didn’t have numbers. This has never happened in 15 years. My NP sent her a note saying all the reasons I am on pain meds. Ms. Pryor’s response was: I don’t give out the dose of pain meds you’re on for “back pain.” I had an accident at work 2 years ago. Fractured skull & jaw, 3 damaged neck vertebrae’s that required an 8 hour surgery, arthritic discs in my lower back, damaged hip joint that causes excruciating pain when I walk but Ms Prior made judgements overriding my doctor’s orders. I ended up going to Walgreens on Dixie Highway where it was filled without a hassle.
My husband & I have transferred our prescriptions to Walgreens. I have contacted CVS Customer Service where I gave 2 detailed complaints requesting a response. I have not received any response.

Filled my pet’s script in less 30 minutes. Great initiative and facilitation and communication by the pharmacist to and with her team. Thank you!

I have been going to this CVS pharmacy for quite some time, and I imagine I am not alone in saying, there have been some dark times here. Recently, my experiences have been pretty good, and today, it was probably the best experience I have had. The staff member who helped me today, Lily, was kind, attentive, welcoming.

It is NOT open 24/7, despite the info on the CVS website, Google, & the many signs on their building.
