The pharmacy manager closed the pharmacy before 7:50 and it was supposed to close at 8:00. He then refused to service me. The medication was necessary to treat a seizure disorder that is still mildly controlled. It needs to be taken at night and I am completely out of doses. Here is a terrible human being and cocky human being. Just so that he can walk out of the door it 8:01PM.

My boyfriend went to get me medicine because I’ve been super sick. He went to get over the counter medication for me and the lady that helped him at the pharmacy did not accept his Guatemalan passport to get the medicine. He has a US ID that recently expired (in the process of getting a new one, he was awaiting a document in the mail) which he tried to use first. Then when she said it couldn’t be accepted because it was expired he tried to use his Guatemalan passport (which you can use to fly, buy alcohol, open a bank account, & is considered and accepted ID) and she did not accept it. We have a video of the incident and will be contacting cvs customer service. It’s sickening how humans are okay treating people this way due to skin color. Very disappointing.

Sad to say, almost never a pleasant, smooth experience at this particular location. Getting your prescription at this CVS pharmacy quite often requires multiple, long-waiting visits until your medicine is finally ready.

I want to show my appreciation for the store and pharmacy. We are moving out of state in six months. There was no point for us to switch pharmacy. But the Walgreens that right across the street changed their schedule to 9-6 Monday through Friday. Which is a mission impossible to me to get my medication.
I heard about bad reviews of some CVS. But after I checked their schedule I decided to go for it. I have lived at lake forest for 10 years but never use this pharmacy once. So the first time I picked up my medication I was surprisingly amazed. Staff greetings, warm smiles. It made me felt like 20 years ago the old fashioned neighborhood pharmacy like you have seen on tv but never in reality. At that time I didn’t have the thought to write reviews here.
And today when I sent my prescription to them, but found out they couldn’t contact their pharmacist, I thought I might be wrong. But about one hour later the store called me, told me their pharmacy was open now. And at their app I requested my medication sooner, I got a ready to pick up your medication text message 30 minutes later.
Maybe people will say those are just basic. But for me with pneumonia waiting for my medication on Christmas Eve , I feel like Christmas miracle. I deeply appreciate their work. Merry Christmas to you all.🎄🎅

Was told my rx would be ready, so I did errands and came back at 3:10, "oh it's not ready, it'll be 10 minutes". I wait 12 and walk back up "did you get texted it was ready?"
What? Are you serious?
Then they ask the name for the third time and turn around and I spent another 20 waiting.

David is who helped me every time I visited CVS and he made the purchase and transaction very smooth. I had been in before looking for a particular energy gum that they didn’t have the 1st time, but he gave me a tone to revisit when they wouyhave it back in stock. I came back in and he remembered me and checked the back and they had received the gum! I was happy. He explained Rey clearly the Extra Care benefits, so I resigned up and received extra money off of my current purchase. David is very helpful and I look for him when ever I return to this location. Store is cleans in order as well.

Just to be clear, this CVS doesn’t do COVID testing at all and they are Very Rude in explaining it.They also won’t help you with find another store that does or apologize for the website getting me out of bed to take a nonexistent test. Lazy and Rude !!!

Have very limited hours, staffing shortages and you have to wait for forever or call because they are constantly closed. Customer service is also lacking in many areas. Save your time and frustration and just go somewhere else.
