The Owner Sam is a real standup guy. I goto the gas station 5 mornings a week as I workout next door, and Sam (or anyone else) is always very friendly. They have a secondary location closer to my house that does nice as well.

I love this gas station very friendly workers and the food is phenomenal! You got to grab the chicken tender basket with the biscuits.

Employee followed me as I was there around 9pm on Monday, May 27 aggressively asking me if I remembered him and asking my name. I told him I was just buying candy, and he continued to follow me and stare at me. The other employee saw and did nothing.

I drove 5 hours to this place because it was the closest place with boiled peanuts. I ate one cup and went back in to grab another and there was a maggot (I believe) inside of the nut. I believe the food handling at this place is what caused this. Such a disappointment and I would advise anybody that stops here to stay away from the food all together.
REPLY: As you mentioned, "no one" can see inside the peanut, and that's probably why no one has ever complained. I'm pretty sure people have been eating maggots and didn't know. I was too desperate and had traveled from so far away that I ignored how dirty the boilers were, and the peanuts had absolutely no flavor. I didn't once say I liked them "verrry much" I said I was going to eat them all because with or with out flavor I love the boiled peanut, without maggots of course, and I didn't travel all that far for one little serving. I was never offered a refund, the guy only asked if I wanted more peanuts, and of course, I declined. I believe however and wherever you guys had the peanuts stored is what caused this situation.
