Nice place if you're looking for older movies an Et cetera. Just to far out of a drive since they closed the one on Preston Hwy.

Went there thinking they would have a decent comic collection but wasn't much bigger than my own collection. They do have some decent pops!

It's more of a cool touristy Louisville landmark than a good place to buy books/music/games. Iconic spot and friendly staff and decent selection of merchandise, but the prices are fairly high for used quality, and they really lowball you if you want to actually exchange something. I tried to sell them a PS4 and controller with cords included, they hooked it up and made sure everything worked, and even then still only offered $50 (I declined their generous offer). I also bought a handful of vinyl records there and it set me back over $40. Nothing rare either. Cool place to see, not a good place to spend money

Awesome and unique bookstore and music store. Decent selection of books and well organized for a used bookstore. They have some old games like Atari, game boy, and some I couldn't recognize. Fair prices. I'm glad this store is surviving still in the online music and ordering days.

Eh. I liked the old owners better, still a decent place to shop, but they will low-ball you if you try to sell things to them.. but hey, gotta support local business and they gotta make their money too. They are the ones taking on the risk of what you sell to them at the end of the day

Has really gone downhill. Transferred all the bad employees from the Preston highway store that closed, to the bardstown road store. Went in to sell my Oculus quest 2 the 250 GB version and is lack of knowledge showed right away. Barely looked at it and immediately passed saying things were missing when I corrected him on what it was took 2 seconds to just research the price not even looking at the product and offered me 50 bucks. Could easily get $100 cash on the low end. They don't know what they're looking at and don't know what they are talking about. I would suggest you take items for the best price somewhere else like a pawn shop or Facebook.
