I just purchased a new BMW from Louisville BMW. I live two states away. Everything was handled via phone and text. I've never even stepped foot in the dealership. I was hesitant at first due to the distance, but after a few initial discussions with the BMW sales manager, James Morgan, I felt more assured. James handled every detail with perfection. This was the easiest and most enjoyable vehicle buying experience I've ever had, and I have purchased dozens of cars and motorcycles. James made it seem easy, but I'm sure it wasn't fun dealing with all of my questions!. As for price, James's quote was by far the lowest I received, not even close. I can't recommend this dealership, and more specificaly James Morgan enough.

DO NOT take your BMW motorcycle here for service! I made an appt and dropped off my 2013 R1200R, I asked them to perform the maintenance that was due and diagnose an engine oil leak. They had my bike for two weeks, without any news. I kept calling and finally after them having it for 13 days I spoke with the service manager and he told me it needed a transmission output seal...he said it would take them several more weeks and his recommendation was to pick it up and bring it back to have them fix it in the winter so I could have free winter storage and that they could possibly provide transport since it would be winter. I advised him we didn't need storage and that we ride in the winter but yes, go ahead and put it back together and I will pick it up. We arrived today to pick it up, after paying $787 for maintenance to find my tank scratched and the fuel light permanently on. Hopefully that's the only thing that wasn't put back together correctly. In summation, they had my bike for two weeks with no communication and I got it back worse than it went to them. We will never have any of our bikes serviced there again!

This place was very knowledgeable , friendly, helpful and all the things you’d expect from a HD/BMW Dealership. Great selection of bikes and fair prices! “Shay” and James Morgan are the standard by which business representatives should strive to. James work many angles to help get to where I needed to be financially and then some. The parts department was very helpful (I apologize I didn’t get their names) as well even going as far as to make certain my service time was put in the system for future visits. I have no doubt I will be back for service and visit well into the future. They didn’t just sell a bike, they bought a loyal customer with their actions! Great job to this team!

My first experience with BMW of Louisville was via BMW roadside assistance, at the time they were the closest BMW dealer. I later found out that they were co-located with HD of Louisville and wasn't sure how that would work out.
The service department was great and were able to quickly replace the back tire on my 2020 K1600B. They do not act like they are the only game in town and all were friendly and courteous.
I drove up on 7/13 to drop off my motorcycle for service on 7/15 and ended up touring the showroom after getting everything taken care of in the back. Shay saw us lingering around the new motorcycles, asked a few questions and ended up taking some info to James on a potential trade deal.
At the end of the day we drove back home with a new 23 B in Manhattan Metallic Matte. James worked the numbers pretty quickly and BMW was offering 0% for 36 months so the trade made sense. Or least as much sense as buying a new motorcycle can make. They had a big event set up for later in the day, but no one ever acted like that was more important.
It was even mentioned that there was a BMW dealer being setup in Lexington I could use for service a bit closer to home, but I will come back when my 600 mile service comes due and in the future.
I recommend BMW of Louisville for all your motorcycle needs.

they will sell you anything.. I have been trying to reach the service department for a month to get my oil changed and bike serviced. All I keep getting this Indian woman on the phone that says that she will take a message... I keep never hearing anything back I have called now 3 times over the last month trying to set up an appointment and she just says sorry I will take a message.... This is unacceptable. As If you buy a brand new BMW motorcycle you have to take it to them to get it serviced, noone in my area services them they are 80 miles away as it is. And cant get serviced.... I suggest not buying a BMW from them due to this because you might have to go to the next BMW dealer which might be 130 miles away.... Terrible service!!!

I’ve bought more BMW bikes in the last 20 years than I care to admit and this was by far the easiest purchase ever. James is awesome to deal with. Well worth the thousand mile round trip.

You couldn’t ask for a better buying experience. James Morgan in sales was patient through several questions and multiple test rides. If you are in the market for a BMW motorcycle you owe it to yourself to stop here and take a look.
